Global grouping by timezone

Are we now put in a global chat based on the timezone we are in? I haven't been able to find anything about this on the forum.

Seems to be grouped based on language/country. Needless to say, "Global" is not global, by any definition.

Does anyone have any information on the method used to group us into different global Chatrooms? It seems to have changed, and I regularly get the same people in poland, south africa and cambodia in my global, mainly very low levels.

I wish "global" chat was determined by experience level because I'm sick seein nothing but people in the 10s and 20s... Would also actually put experience level to a good use. And they should rename the channel to "general"

I usually get people from Australia, Netherlands and the U-S.

Could a mod or someone withhe necessary knowledge let us know how we are grouped together for 'global' chats, please.
