War matching I think needs work

My clan War Champs has lost a lot of wars and the matching has matched us with much better clans and I have read how clans are matched but I can see no evidence of it happening when my clan is match and this confuses me greatly pls post comments if u have a better understanding of this than I do

This paragraph above this text was my original thread but now it is to late my clan is fallen to pieces and we have lost 43/48 wars and our loyal members have given up despite our best efforts we have frequenty ben matched up with people with better bases than urs as their number 10 would usually be just as good as our number 1

My aim for this thread now is to get Supercells notice and with enough support to get them to change the war. I have heard all that (If war was to strict that matchmaking would not be practical ) stuff I understand this Supercell but that's not good enough even if you have to take war away and fiddle round with it for months. In the end you will benefit from this so please Fix WAR.

Another aim for this thread is also post your ideas about how they could improve War, War matchmaking.
one of my ideas is that there should be a gauge of how experienced a clan is like how many wars how they have been in how many wins and loss and how much by did they win/lose as I think this is another problem with war as you could have a fairly equal match but the other clan is much more experienced.

Another one is Supercell this is not a complaint about the fact that wars are not exactly equal but the fact that so much matchmaking is grossly unfair.

Member's who have been dissing this and saying that something like this is post every day get lost and go say something worthwhile like sign a petition

it all depends on your clan you can be better if you stop using giants and use good troops your entire clan needs good defense set ups and good attack strategies too win stop complaining here and just fix the problem the problem is your clan just isn't good in wars

Put my name on that petition!!! In our newest war, we are facing a clan with TEN MORE TH9s than us! TEN! We also have less TH10s and while their lowest is TH8, we have a handful of TH7s! ♥♥♥?

you act like if you have a higher level town hall the base is automatically better my town hall 8's are better than my th 9's

I've looked over your base and its quite simple why...

First you should educate yourself on the mechanics of the game, especially how war matching takes place.

1. Your clans overall defense and offense along with th levels will be matches against other similiar to that area.
2. Ive looked at your base and im sorry to break it to you, but your clan are all premie th's (main reason for the mismatching)
3. While you have premie bases, you do have a considerable advantage against other due to camp size and your troop levels. The thng I can see is your ability to do a successful attack.

My recommendation: Leave the clan respectfully and join one that KNOWS what they are doing cause you still have no idea how the mechanics work.

I am being brutally honest and not trying to start a forum war. Just honesty.

Hmm...where does it say TH level itself has anything to do with matchmaking? Please edumacate me, cause if you accuse people of having no idea, you might want to make sure you do...

Clan wars matchmaking is not done by XP level or town hall, but rather a score based on the level of your defensive buildings, traps, and more.

Also keep in mind that if matchmaking were too strict, it would be very difficult to find any matches at all. We realize that this can result in some unfair matches, but it's better than the alternative of not finding any matches at all.

The real bottom line is that nobody that comes on here complaining about matchmaking ever has all the proof of a real mismatch. For that you would need: troop, spell, hero, defense, wall, army camp, and cc level of everyone in both clans. Until then all this mismatch nonsense is just an unproven claim. I can also come on to the forums and say that I three starred a maxed th10 at th8. This thread is irrelevant until there is proof.

I think maybe you're not seeing the point -- or at least you have a different definition of "real mismatch" than many of the rest of us. If all the things you cite are more or less equal in a match (troop, spell, hero, defense, wall, army camp, cc level, etc) and we are STILL ending up matched against clans that we have no realistic chance of beating, then maybe SC needs to rethink the whole formula -- such as how things like walls are counted, for instance.

If my clan has eight Level 7-8 THs against another clan that has only two level 8s and no level 7s, or if my clan has eight level 10s against the other clan's 14 level 10s, then this is a mismatch. I don't care how equal the walls are. A player can beat a village that has higher walls or higher spell levels. But it's almost impossible to beat one that has two inferno towers and three x-bows when the player has no freeze spells and lower-level troops and troop capacity. Sure, sometimes there will be a fluke win, but for the most part, we are matched with clans that simply not possible to beat.

As for your own experience, yes, it's great that you can beat maxed-out TH10s with your TH8, but you are clearly an extra-special player who is an exception who is far beyond most of the rest of us most ordinary players. If you are routinely beating max 10s with Level 8, then you are like an Olympic gold medalist of a Clan player, and it's not really fair to measure the rest of us against you.

Bottom line -- if people are being matched with clans that they have no chance of beating, then it doesn't matter if the match is somehow "equal" according to the numbers currently being used. Obviously those numbers need to be rethought.

not only was it their 20 level 100 + that were all more advanced than our 4 top players but also our bottom 21 couldn't 2 star their bottom base. and we didn't quit at the site of level 100 + players, we didn't fight to protest this utter abortion ♥♥ fail fest matchmaking cluster♥♥♥♥. Perhaps you and some others are too dense to comprehend the reason why these threads are here in the first place, we only want a fair fight. Is that unreasonable?

I agree that the matchmaking system sometimes isn't fair as my clan was in some pretty uneven match-ups as well. Just a couple of war back then we were in a war with a Chinese clan that seems to outmatch us at everything. Their first 10 bases are completely maxed or nearly maxed th10 and 9 and their queens are average 20 (their first six bases all have lv30 queen) whereas ours is 10 (with the exception of myself and another clan mate). They have 39 wins while we have 26. They gonna win anyways right? Turned out they suck at attacking, couldnt even 2 star our top bases while we easily 2 or 3 starred all of their bases.

So don't give up too soon. You never know whats gonna happen.

has your clan won 50+ wars? If not, you have no idea of what a 50 win war clan would do.

So what? So are mine. I dont complain about troop cost EVER in clan wars...win or lose. You will never recoup that. I am talking about your entire clan getting to try new things in a no pressure environment. I am not the only clan that is trying this out. Quit thinking about just you. My entire clan jumped all over this and had a ton of fun.

and incidentally, if you remember, my attack was 129 WB....which was super fun and cost squat.
