Thank you for your input, making a better version that protects the storages better now.

First with the townhall out there's no point to boast about hard to 50% barch. And the centralized splash makes it easy to barch storages. And your defense pathing won't work all the time--the giants would have to walk too far and will often punch walls, not to mention any giant based army will carry wallbreakers.

Well, your gold and elixir storages near teslas look exposed (now i see what ppl meant when they said the same thing about my layout), they lack point defense coverage and i don't think splash will protect them either. Not saying they're sureshot gone but they maybe something to worry about.

Nice job on the centralised CC, looks amazing and i love it.

Splash and air defenses have good placement but if they provided a wee bit more coverage towards outside, it would have been better.

Predicted funneling path looks good but i am looking forward if it'll always work.

I have been saying this alot, at TH8 you gotta make such comprises. Overall a good one. Good effort.

I remember One Ring. I used it for the majority of my TH7 time.

No defense funnel is guaranteed to always work, many things can screw it up. And as I said, it's untested, I hope that it does work a lot. And btw the barch storage problem is fixed with version 2, I hope.

WOW! Yet another base to add to my to-try list

I like this base. As with most designs, I will have to rearrange some buildings to satisfy my preferences and handle the small gripes that I have. The thing I look in a base is how the walls/traps are placed and how easy it is to rearrange buildings w/o making the base function in a way that it was not suppose to. For example, I don't like how the de drill is behind 2 layers of walls(especially at th8 since the maximum that can be stolen from it is 337.5 and that is if a th8 attacks you when you have not collected for 10h) and I am not a fan of the current triangles of the splash/air defense. This base seems easy for me to rearrange for my preferences and keep things working properly.

Looks better now, protects DE and another resource just like a typical TH 8 should.

P.S. - You posted Version 0.2 instead of Version 2.0 above the base image.

Yes, this base is pretty easy to rearrange buildings for your preference, you could swap the storages around in the ring depending on what you want to defend. The triangular splash and air defense is to maximize coverage of the whole ring, so no matter what side you attack, theres bound to be splash and an air def in range .Hope you like it
