Lightbulb Update the 'edit village' function

Editing your village layout is very slow and frustrating. I have 3 suggestions for improving this, from quick and easy to quite a complex bit of coding.

    1. The simplest way to make this less painful would be to have the ability to copy your standard layout to your war base layout AND VICE VERSA.

    2. The next option, hopefully still easy to do, would be to give players the ability to save multiple base layouts (say 3) and select from them depending on your goals at the time (e.g. town hall protection, resource protection, etc.).

    3. The final suggestion would probably take quite a while to implement but I think it would be received very gratefully: allow grouping of buildings.
The simple way would be adding 'select all connected walls' and 'group enclosed buildings' buttons, the first popping up once you select a row of walls, the second popping up once you click the first.
A 'multi-select on' button and then a 'group buildings' button would be even better, allowing you to move/rotate sections of your base in a few easy clicks.

Thanks for putting out such a fun game. Hopefully you'll see these suggestions as valuable and put them into action ASAP.

p.s I now realise that this idea has been suggested before. Sorry if I broke the rules, but clearly a lot of people are keen so maybe it'll happen for the next update...

Genius!! I totally agree with all of it! I don't know how supercell would be able to program the 3rd thing but if they could it would make village editing so much easier!

Why doesnt supercell make a option so u can select a row of walls then upgrade them all at the same time?

Been suggested a thousand times, and I still dont get whats so hard about clicking a wall at a time? Besides I dont know what lvl walls u have but I'm upgrading to 8 now, and frankly i wish i had enough to upgrade rows at a time!

as for the layout thing, I do love the saving if previous layouts, my phone is filled with previous layouts that worked for me! I tend to change my layout a lot. And I dont quite understand your third idea, but whatever #2 is good

I know that they added a button to the war base layout but I haven't pressed it yet in case I lose my standard base. Do they let you copy either to the other? I've only seen the new button in the 'war base layout' editor. I guess I should google it instead of posting here. Either way, I hope they like the second and third ideas, I'm tired of having to spend so much time editing.

If you press the copy-button in CW-editor it'll just copy your "real" base, you won't lose it.

I would really love to save more than one base so i could easily switch from farming to pushing without having a stupid hybrid base. AMOR NUMERO DOS

Read again, the vice versa is not available. You can copy your normal base to your war base, not the other way.
If creating multiple saved war base layouts is so hard to do (even for a million dollars/day company) then the option number 2 should be a lot easier.
