So I was up at around 1700-1750 trophies and I am a TH8 and was constantly getting raided by TH9 and TH10. I drop to about 1450 to prevent this and I was still got raided by the same people; their trophies are 1700+ and are still finding my base at 1400ish. Why did I drop trophies to get raided by the same people with higher trophy counts and how does this happen?
Matches are based on trophies. Anyone +/- 200 trophies can be matched with you. TH level has zero bearing. They may move up or down in trophies after the attack, hence the reason you see a disparity.
