Good Cheapish Fast Dark elixir farming army for TH8?

What's a good DE farming army to use that doesn't rely heavily on spells and doesn't take more than 45minutes to make?

I was thinking like Giant/Healer? Or maybe just Giant,Archer,Goblins? Both with wallbreakers

What to you guys think? Spells take forever, so I'd like it to not rely heavily on them like Balloonion and BAM does for DE. Maybe like 1 spell per raid.

Barch works with a few wallbreakers. You could also try Giants / Goblins / WB / Archers

Trophy range has a lot to do with how efficient you find DE. You'll have a much better time in Gold II - Crystal III as anything lower it's somewhat difficult to find bases loaded with DE

For me, it's been more of a problem keeping it than farming it. Personally, I still use barcher with some goblins. However, thanks to advice from a lot of people on here, I've been doing very well DE wise in mid to high range Gold 2. There are quite a few abandoned bases up there, many th9 with 2 drills maxed out and outside walls. I've been getting a couple hundred on each raid. It's slow but steady. The first thing I did was max out my DE drill to level 3 at th8

Other than spells, when you get close, you can also entertain the notion of boosting your drill with gems if you have something higher than level 1 (which you should).

Finally, always remember the revenge button. Some of the best DE I've ever gotten was off of revenge. U can simply wait until it gets larger. I recently got over 2000 dark elixir off a th10 who rushed his th.

I hope this help you. The only other option is to snipe up to crystal where you get a small DE loot bonus for winning. Beware tho, those guys will come back and get you. I don't go to crystal because I know I can't hang with those guys. I don't want it if I haven't earned it.

That's what I've been doing and it's been working okay, but my main focus has been on Gold. I just want a more DE focused army that can still get 50% most of the time, or maybe get to the TH.

Indeed, that is a difficult situation as CofC currently has not troops designed to target specifically DE. That's what makes th8 a slow process in getting DE. the best thing I did to keep mine was get my DE storage up so that it took more hit points to get my DE, buying my defenses more time to wail on their troops.

Other than that, I cannot think of another way. I'm sorry I could not be more helpful to you.
