Look for villages that have TONS of resources but their storages look empty. Then all you have to do is attack the collectors that are usually around the outside of the town walls. I've had raids where I pulled down 200k+ gold and elixir with only abou 30 goblins total.
Once you are rolling in resources, use you gold to steadily upgrade your defenses (I'd start with your wiz towers) and your elixir to level up your troops.
