New to coc i'm hot mess, any way to fix this!

Ok long story short I have broken femar and am stuck in bed for a few months so my kids turned me on coc but they suck too and are already over it but I love the game and need to know how to fix the damage I've done. Im a level 53 1300 trophies and heres were problems lie, I have level th8 and all elixer and gold are 10 and I suck in battles strategy and I upgraded all wrong I have all troops level 4 till giants with exception lvl3 loons level2 healers dragons pekkas, hog riders, and minions king is 5 my defense is awful only 1 telsa bombs only 2 and 3 lg.bombs have 3 but lvl 2 and 1 my cannons are only 7 and arch tower7 and 5, morter 3and4 and wiz towers levels 1, 3,4 were at war and because of I guess my level they put me pretty high and I get spanked no idea what to use can house 200 but never get above 1 maybe 2 stars if im lucky and get ran over by opponent And to add insult to injury I cant win a regular fight anymore to get elixer or gold, so im begging for someone to take there time and really guide me on How to fix this MESS I HAVE MADE AND WERE I CAN EVEN BEGIN, IM LOST

Okay. Heres how to bounce back. .
boost your barracks. X2 , make 20% barbs 40% archers 40% minions. And farm constantly.. Keep raiding and making gold for upgrades... Only way to bounce back. I promise you in a month youll have progress . Keep at range 1700-1800 for farming okay?

I agree with raiding as often as possible. No doubt. But I also feel u need to be around people who will guide u in which things to upgrade and in what order. Your clan mates should step up and help you here. That's what I do in mine. It would take pages to do it here. I will say this though, what u have is totally fixable. If u wanna message me I would be more than happy to try to help with specific questions. No problem at all. I wish u well in your recovery from your injury.

What i would advise u to do is farm to get resources and first start to upgrade ur troops. Its best to upgrade the troops u use the most regularly first. One easy attack strategy is using the healer and giant strategy. This strategy works in your trophy range and it is a cheap combo. Usually what i did was use the giant and healer strategy and then added some archers. Usually i used 1-2 healers and 15-19 giants and the rest archers. This strategy gave two to three stars all the time. However as u get higher trophies this strategy is not the best. After this strategy was no longer helpful for me after incerasing trophies, i switched to minion and ballons. Next what i would advise u to do is make sure all ur walls is at least lvl 6. Once u have that done make sure u upgrade ur defences. After getting all ur defences and u have finished upgrading them, start upgrading ur walls too at least lvl 7. what i like to do is max out my everything before moving to the next town hall.

HERE IS ANE EXTREMLY HELPFUL WAY TO GET RESOURCES WHEN U ARE LAZY........ train all archers and attack bases that have pumps that are full.... it isnt hard to find these bases...... this is the easiest way to gain resources fast....obviously u might lose tropies but its the easiest way to get resources in my opinion. Once u build up resources u are good to go and u will be able to fix everything quickly... dont worry u will be back on ur feet quickly....

And this my friend is why it's never a good idea to rush your TH.

Lots of good suggestions already. BARCH'ing is the way to go (fast and easy) and go for full pump bases or bases with their storages behind the first layer of wall and therefore easily sniped.

You won't break into cores with this strat, but you don't need to. 50% is doable most of the time with lvl'5's and you should be netting a profit nearly every raid.

Once you build your base back up your defenses will be able to protect you better.

Gold 2 is also the best for TH8 to farm in (1600-1800) if you're hunting for gold/elixer. Dark elix not so much.

Can't believe this wasn't the first recommendation:

Find a clan that has people in it that will help you by looking at your replays and your base and telling how to fix everything. My clan would do it in a heartbeat. Also be completely willing to take advice... if they say it isn't working even though you think it is and they have more experience, just listen.

You should definitely leave your clan. Don't stick with a noob clan that has 10 members! Get a good clan with lots of active members that well help you progress. Also i don't know if this has been mentioned yet but focus on getting your offense up first. Also while you are doing that upgrade your splash defenses (mortars, wizard towers).

With your weaker defenses, farm between 1300-1500. If you go any higher, you will constantly get demolished by other players. Also, the bases you attack in that range will be weaker so you will be able to practice on bases that give you a better chance of success.

Train 1 barrack full of barbs 1 with 20 barbs/rest archers and 2 barracks of barbs. Minions are optional(i bring 10-15 on my th8 account) if you just keep raiding for 150k+ gold youll bounce back quick
