TH8 in C2

Hello, I'm pushing to masters and I am losing elixir way too quick. I started with 5.2M+ lix today and within a few ours I'm already down to 4.2M and I've only gained like 90 trophies, im at about 2350. I was using barch but I kept on getting annoying 49% raids and all and I couldn't take it, so I switched to mass drags. I've had 100% success so far, all 2-star and 3-star. But this is using a ton of my lix. Each raid I'm using about 7-8 drags, 30-40 archers, 1 rage spell and my king for a little clean up (takes minimal damage). So I need help with getting my lix up, cuz even though the strategy is working, it's using up too much lix. The only people that raid me are TH snipers and people going for my loot. I offer about 300K+ gold, 300K+ lix and 1K+ DE each raid, so that eats it up pretty quick also. I can't gem the lix nor can I boost my collectors. I'm sitting on 5.9M-6M gold pretty much and offering 500K+ gold each battle and have about 27.5K DE. So do I also need new strategy? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Use bolts instead of fury. Fully evoloved TH9/10's are too distorting for fury spell to perform at its peak. I use minions instead of archers to reduce hits. I am at 2416 as a TH7

Snipe more. I got to masters at th 8 and I barched all the way. As the bases got tougher I just sniped my way there.

Spend all your gold on walls, this will reduce your amount of gold that is available to attacker, and in the higher leagues a cheap way to get trophies it to put your DE storage in the corner

I currently use pretty much only 1 rage a raid and still get 2 and 3-stars. With lightning, I can only see myself using 3 times per raid on ADs, which costs more than 1 rage. What is your exact army comp?

I'm sniping whenever I can. But it's hard to find them.

All my defenses and walls are maxed except for one wall. (For TH8) Nobody even goes for my DE, I haven't seen even one person try to get my DE for a few weeks and it's just one layer in and sticking out. Do you really think like cornering it will make much of a difference?

i got to c1 just sniping as th7, but you need to be very patient if you do so

Its expensive with mass drags (as you have seen).

I sniped to C2 as TH7 but it got very difficult once I cracked 2301 (personal best).

Are your collectors maxed out? If not, that would be a good step to get your base producing as much as possible. Are you trying to get there to stay or just for the gems?

I had pretty good luck using:
6 giants - lvl5
8 Wb - lvl5
10 hogs - lvl3
40 Archers - lvl5
The rest wizards -lvl5

2 Rage and 1 heal.

Use giants to take brute force, then spam wb to clear path to center, followed by hogs to clear defense on your attack side. Since you now have no defense to worry about near the th, you can go ahead and throw in your archers and wizards to grab the th/50%. Don't forget to use a few archers to clear the outside buildings, other wise your wizards will have pekka syndrome.

Recently trophy pushed, and it proved wonderful strategy, 2 stars typically.

TH7 in C1- around 2543. Sniping gets incredibly tough as it progresses, but I only hit a brick wall 2500 +. How long are you searching? Maybe use less drags to pick up the one star? Tbh, barch still seems like your best bet. Add a few minions too.

Here's a few options:

1) One way to fix this is careful observation of elixir available in your raids. If you wish to use Mass Dragons, you need to use it on high elixir bases. Not necessarily breaking even, but a high amount of elixir. Yes, there will be a significant increase in searching time with this option, but it's almost a necessary evil when using the Mass Dragons strategy.

2) Switch to Balloonion and go for 50% (and occasionally the 2 star) raids. This is a significant drop in army cost (yes, level 5 loons will work but you need to be very, very precise). Still, you must monitor your elixir intake on raids closely.

3) My clan mate who was just in Champs was talking about his strategy for keeping elixir high, which is for every long push of just trophy focus, he would take a couple raids and go for the win, but prioritize the elixir intake as well (resulting in a higher search time for elixir-prioritized raids, but still able to gain some trophies and keep elixir intake high.
