Meh, I'm not a fan of the healing spells for drags. I either use 3 rage near the ADs to take them out quicker, or I use 3 lightning to take out a hard-to-reach AD, then attack from the corner with the two closest ADs.
So far my go-to strategy is 3 lightning on 1 AD, 5 hogs in CC to take out another AD if possible (usually there's at least one that's easy to get to), and that only leaves one left (for TH8s). Put all the drags close to the last one and voila, 3 stars. To make sure they get to the air defense, I usually save about 2-3 until they clear the path. If they go to the sides and miss it, the ones I saved will go right for the last AD. If they already target it, I put the other 3 on different ends of the base to attack it from all sides.
Generally I get 6 stars for my clan using this strategy or a mix between lightning and rage, but every once in a while the drags go full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and miss the last AD, or the hogs don't kill one and I'm left dealing with 2 AD instead of 1. I would say that I get 3 stars in about 9/10 of my attacks, maybe even closer to 9.5/10, when I use this strategy
