the idea for clan barracks is simple. It where donations go to wait so it isn't an online thing. The inven could be controlled by a certain rank or higher in the clan to keep what they may consider garbage out of it. The timers and all wouldnt change at all. With CoC being the international sensation that it is, this would also help bridge the time zone issue many clans may experience. Is there a down side to it?
This is a great idea that has been suggested before, and ignored. I agree that it would be a great addition to the game. There could be an issue with the "Friend in need" achievement though. It would need to be programmed so you get credit when people take your troops out of the barracks, not when you put troops in.
