My teacher believes that there is math in playing stratagy games like CoC

i can make a few math questions from coc.
example 1: if tommy is saving gold to upgrade his wizard tower (720000 gold) and he has 719999, how much more does he need?
example 2: if a mortar shoots one round every five seconds and does 7 damage per second, how much longer will it take to actually kill a troop with 200 health than it would if the mortar shot one shot per second and each shot did 7 damage?

I am guessing that it was a once in a year occasion that they got to play CoC in class like when some math teachers let the kids play math related games and win candy. Keep in mind that this was only 15 minutes. Are field trips in elementary school gonna make every kid fail? So if they extended the lunch break by 15 minutes every student would fail and become mailboys? Or if they extended a few minutes from the time to get to the next class by even 2.5 minutes, every student would not get a good job? I am giving you the benefit of the doubt hoping that you actually thought they let them play CoC throughout the school day every day.

On topic, I think it is fine for math teachers to incorporate 15 minutes of break/fun time to the students if the class all together did good on a past test etc. CoC is also a strategy game so its not like flappy bird where you keep tapping the screen. In a sense CoC is a good way to keep your brain working while you are having fun.

If you actually use "Brain Power" to play CoC, you're struggling in life.
