    Wizards affection by lightning.

I was going for a new attack strategy test that include a lightning spell to kill cc troops. There was wizards in the cc and so when I dropped the lightning the wizards didn't die. I thought I misplaced it so I went again on another raid and dropped it where wizards were immobile, still they barely lost half of their health. So I went checking, wizards level 5 have a hitpoint of 156 when the lightning level 5 has a damage of 420 which is three times the wizard's hitpoint. So I find it kind of not logical not killing the wizard.
That is my request, make lightening spells kill wizards as they are supposed to. Not barely damaging them just cause they're "wizards"
    Thanks

I think it's cuz 1 shot of lightning is like 80 dmg, so maybe the onwards only got shot once

When I discussed it with one of my co-leaders he said the same thing. But as I said wizards were immobile. So let's go ahead and say each shot does a dmg of 80, then the whole spell (all of the shots) should result with a damage of 420. And since wizards are immobile and all shots targeting the same spot, wizards must die.

No because if u drop the bottle DIRECTLY on the target, the target gets 2 shots. Everything around it only gets 1 shot. So maybe u aimed wrong and hit a little to the left or something

2 shots is 160 which is still enough to kill it lol
Weird thing is, they don't just stay alive, they have half+ of their hitpoint remaining sometimes.

Not every bolt hits the desired target. It's splash.
What level is your lightning spell

Only the first bolt of the spell hits directly where you place it, the remainder land randomly near the first strike. So sometimes only one bolt hits the Wizards leaving them with over half their health remaining.

Can be frustrating when trying to kill a bunch of wizards with lightning, but that is just how the spell behaves.

For me, I get around it by taking two lightning spells. Using barbs to make them move next to a mortar.

Zap Zap, dead Wizards & Mortar.

I knew I would get replies like that that's why I have the perfect example why in my opinion a lightning spell should kill wizards.
Well even if it landed a bit close to it randomly, it is being zapped by the other bolts. And let's say other bolts are not hitting the wizards, well why do all the bolts affect a building when they fall close to it, not on it; and doesn't affect a wizard when it falls next to it?
Another thing, when a mortar fires, if the bomb landed close to the wizard and not on it it is affected but bolts that fall near don't affect? (Btw both mortar and lightning are area splashs). Also, when a bomb or giant bomb is triggered close to a wizards by another unit, the wizard dies or is affected even when it's not in the range that triggers.
So all these stuff work, and a lightning can't kill a wizard? That's makes no sense to me. And that's mainly my request.
