Introducing: Clan War Tournaments!

I like the 16 team idea but what about the possibility of fighting within clans, tournament matches. it sure how you would do it but the players would have to be given an even playing field, equal level everything. Perhaps that's too big of a additional option to add to the game, but it would sure be nice to settle differences.

Finding 2 clans to match can take a while but finding 16 would take ages

Ya, the idea of clan war tournament is very awsome , this will increse the activeness and no. Of members in the game and their interest too.I want this idea to be passed and very soon to be active in the game.

I like the idea but what happens to people that are inactive. Can you replace them when you booted them out during a clan war tournament?

I definitely see the need for tournaments. I've been playing Clash for almost 2 years and I am starting to lose interest in the game. My main thing that I and my clan mates love to do is clan wars. But, after 111th clan war victory you start to ask yourself what is the point. I liked when Clash came out with the xp for clan wars. This was a great attempt to improve clan wars. I think that great clan warriors should get the same recognition as trophy pushers. Maybe a bulletin showcasing all of the top clans for the month or so. Loot and xp only go so far as incentives to war. There needs to be more sport involved and bragging rights. I don't think this is feasible but I also think that players should be able to check out other clan wars going on. Being a spectator could be fun. Most importantly if tournaments do happen is that matchmaking has to be solid. No 9.5 town halls in a strictly town hall 9 pool, and no 8.5 in an 8 pool either. I don't mind if the search for a tournament lasts a day, I would like to see a fair matchup. I hope to see this idea generated so that I can ever so more bury myself in my bedroom playing Clash all day.

If supercell does not approve this opinion, then i don't think they can approve any other opinion. The author of this post is just too brilliant.! Supercell...i look forward to seeing this opinion come true, it must be added in the next game upgrade! Im sure supercell gotta be wondering why they haven't come up with such a thing all this while!. Brilliant write-up and explanation from the author!.

I think it is a good idea but unfortunately there will be a lot of water under the bridge before the war is complete. Players leaving, inactivity etc...

I think the idea sounds good. My suggestions to make this "better" would be:

1. Wars would only last 12 hours, not 24. This would let the wars be finished sooner. People normally don't sleep 12 hours a day. 8 is about the average. That means that even if the war starts when you're asleep you should have plenty of time to make your 2 attacks when you wake up.
2. There is a single prep day. That's right, I said it. One prep day. This would last the full 24 hours instead of the 12 hours that the wars themselves would last. This is to let people prepare to adjust their schedules as needed to make sure they make all of their attacks in each war. Any CC troops you donate during prep day stay throughout all of the wars.

The shorter war period, and single day of prep would mean this tournament would be over in 3 days, not 8 days.
