Introducing: Clan War Tournaments!

This is a great idea I would love to see implemented, however, I agree that the time is too long. Also, there could be a problem with not being able to hold enough war loot if you got the tournament and last war bonus at the same time.

EDIT: I also think many clans would have trouble keeping all/most of thier members for a whole month so is it a new war lineup each time or...?

No Problem.
I give an example: if tournament start for clans with 40 member, we have 2plan for this problem:
1- we can fine those clans that members leaves from their, and carry on all wars with 40 member.
2- we can have dynamic system, for example after leaves some members, clan A will have 38 members, this clan can participate in wars with 35 members with other clans.

@ Any SC representative, why isn't some version of this not been implemented yet? And where are the clan war leaderboards????

Awesome idea. But I can see challenges for SC to produce a decent matchmaking method for it. Since clan on clan wars already suffer from taking to long or getting even matches the setting up of a tournament would be that much harder.

I think it will be much exciting if it is scheduled per month or twice a month. Clan leaders should be submitting entry if they would want to join. (And leader will choose who among the members to join,unlike on the war. In a war, everybody should be joining, imagine that your country is in a war, will you left them behind???)
Like tournament of other games, preschedule instead of making it like war search.
Also, the system should have ample time to match the entries/clan. There will be different division depending on the strength and sizes of the clans.
Another one is, i think finishing the torunament for 1 month is too long.
I think 1 week should be enough.
1 round round per day so at maximum there will be a 128 clans per division.
In case of less 128 clans in a division, there will be some clan waiting (i forgot the term in a single elimination match)
And maybe 1 attack per member, while 2 attacks for the leader or maybe a designated clan hero.
Also,this way an active clan will most likely match with another active clan in the 3rd or 4th round onwards.
SC may decide that there will be an entry fee to join the tournament. Gold, elixir or maybe gems.
But of course there should be a bonus loot for the champion clan. Perhaps gems as well.
Another thing, maybe two kinds of tournament one base on atack and defense power, while the other base on trophies ( i think that would be fun, if a clan doesnt want that kind of match up, they can just decide not to join)

I like the idea of clan war tournament. It adds excitement and new challenge to veteran players. I just have 1 point to discuss about it . It would be to long for a tournament to last 1 or 2 months . It is better if a round of 16 clans winner advances to the next round be played every 3 days so that it would take only 2 weeks for it to finish. Then you can rest after the tournament and not to engage in any war or tournament. Tournament win record is also nice to be seen on your clan record together with war win record. The more tournament chanpion record you have the better standing your clan have.

Good idea and i like it. Only the time spend is the issue for me 1 or 2 months for tournament will be too long. 2 weeks would just be enough for me and if the clan wants another tournament they can join again or if they want just 1 war its their option to choose.

This is a great idea with good details and I would love to see something like this added in an update soon to make wars a lot more fun and competitive. I think 1 war a week for all clans in the tournament would be perfect because a tournament loot bonus might be overused if it you could do tournaments in less than a month. My suggestions on this are you have buttons on the side of the war map during every tournament war-even if youre not in Week 2,3 and 4- to watch other wars in the tournament. So, for example, in Week 1, you might be War 2, and you have buttons on the side of the war map to watch wars 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8-Although, this might be hard for SC to make. In Week 2, you are War 1, and can watch wars 2, 3, and 4. In Week 3, you are eliminated from Tournament but can still watch Wars 1 and 2 and in Week 4 you can still watch War 1. I think also you can't do other wars during a Tournament because that'd be too complicated for SC to make happen, and if you are eliminated from a Tournament you still can't do a war, which is the price you pay for being eliminated, and the risk you take when doing a tournament. I agree with pretty much everything else you said.

Hi guys, I found this thread which is a good idea.

Earlier i just posted a thread on CoC Championship. Its like football (soccer as for American) FIFA World Cup or Chess FIDE world title's format.

The idea is to have it quarterly, half yearly or yearly event. This to spice up the current season league, Top 3 clans league and Clan Wars league.
