Just put the DE at the middle of the core, with 3 Wiz towers surrounding it and CC beside it. incl Xbows and 2 max Air defense, storage all around the core...seriously....is there anything else?...I've been using this core for ages

Pair that core with those popular anti hog bases with many empty spaces for double giant bombs and you got yourself a winner

But after you finish off the DE for upgrades, the CC should be swap with the DE....so the CC will be in the middle....and mortars will take over the Wiz towers place.

And always keep your TH outside at the corner unprotected for free shields...its actually quite difficult to find bases outside corner nowadays....so when ppl see it, they will surely hit it.
