What to do with gems?!

Hi guys, I'm a townhall 7 with 5 builderhuts, i have around 2000 gems left and I dont know what to do with them or how to use them... Im barching all the time so I do not think its smart to boost my barracks, or is it? Please let me know how you guys do it..

Boost, even with barch, a 15-20 min army can be cooked in less then 5 minutes, you can raid SOOO many times.

Barching with a boost means raiding very quickly. I definitely recommend using your gems to boost.

I'm relatively new to the game, only recently at TH6 so excuse me if this is a dumb question, but; how do you manage to have all your builder huts plus a surplus of 2k gems?
I'm struggling to get my 4th builder hut it seems.

The + sign next to your gem count lets you buy gems

In a barracks boost you can attack so many times, you will earn loot in no time!

If your walls arent maxed, i'd boost the barracks to raid, even with Barch, as it allows you to farm those walls so much quicker.

However, if your walls are maxed, I would save those gems to boost the barracks in TH8 to get those skull walls quicker as well.
