TH8s getting attacked by TH9s

I would suggest using this base. It has defended against many Town Hall 9's because it easily confuses Giants and has centralized Air Defense and takes down Dragons

A good base design is the only defense. It's hard to stop 20 lvl6 giants stompin through your base. It's all fair tho. the 9s get smashed by the 10s and the 7s don't like it when u smash through them for 200k each or just cos u want some easy trophies. Just the way the game works

i make it a point to spend most of my resources before i log off

and i have my th FAR outside my base ... i dont understand these people who put their th right next to the wall on the outside near all the defenses, your not gonna get a snipe but u will probably get steamrolled that way

plus plenty of great bases on this forum and on google, just search "th8 farming base" or "best th8 base", etc

+1. If you are farming and you're just after the shield, just put the damned thing at the corner of your base out of your defensive building's reach it's that simple. If you put the TH outside but near your defences, you are just tempting people to stomp you. People who put their TH's outside and plant hidden tesla's beside it are the worst. Seriously, it makes me want to wreck your bases even if I gain nothing from it.

You think only TH8 get hit by TH9...

When you are TH9 you are prime target for TH10...they empty you DE storage with their lvl6 Goblins with ease...thats easy 2000DE for them...and losing 2K is a sad situation. So most of the bases you will see have 3~4 Wiz tower, Xbows and Air defense guarding the DE storage.

it's a good idea to max everything before upgrading your TH. I'm at TH 8 and the only thing i have left to max out are my teslas, an a few spots in the walls
