I keep my TH outside and only lose a few trophies. (Highest I've lost from a smile was 11 trophies)

Farm in streaks so when you lose it is only peanut s compare to what you earned.
oh dear, losing 200k each is nothing. Earn it back in one attack lol. TH 8 is so easy to get loots. I hope they raise the price of skull.
maybe your base defenses aren't that good? Have you maxed them before you were able to reach TH8?

Quite lucky really that my base held up against lvl 6 troops a day ago but he didn't use his heroes.

my walls are all dark purple and my defences were all maxed when I upgraded to th8
