I think when you guys are about to do the maintenance , you need to inform the players. Because when you making maintenance Im booting my barracks often and I always lost a lot time which equate with some gems which is bought by money!!! I think this is a little treating.
My idea is when you making maintenance you'd better pause the booting so I will feel much better.

I agree... any time we are forced offline by maintenance or being online too long, boosted units such as barracks or collectors should be paused so we have the time we spent our gems on continued.

Agreed. Many MMORPGs do the same thing for patch day. It is either scheduled for the same time each week, and/or there are a series of system-wide messages sent out to give a countdown to servers being taken offline. I am sure SC could figure out a way to keep people who boost their barracks/resources from doing it right before CoC goes offline. Or, yes, the boost should be paused during downtime.

Agreed, it's not much money. But it's the principle of the matter. SC should fix this from a customer service standpoint.
