It only gets harder to find loot. TH7 is the best TH for looting. Use it while you can!
Stay at TH8 as long as needed.
TH9 cost a bunch of gold and if you didn't max TH8, it will just take longer to farm enough.
I should have done at least one tesla level upgrade all around on TH8. Now I'm still working on them as a TH9 and I haven't upgraded my CC.
Sure you are weak and unuseful as a TH8 but that is life
