My attack style is hogs and dragons. It's pricey but good for wars.
Use your hogs to get rid of the air defenses and then send in the dragons.
As mentioned above hogs are a bit more fragile since the upgrade, however a few healing spells and a rage will get the job done.
However at TH7 I don't recommend it as already pointed out, no drill = no constant DE.

Hogs are still really good in small numbers, just deploy a barbarian to set off any giant bomb near you and send out about 6 to take care of a wizard tower and a cannon or so then just let out a few giants and BARCH on the side that you deployed your hogs (always bring wall breakers, i use about 8).
if you use the barbarian king too he will help out a lot when he is inside the base.
I'm a town hall lvl 7 and i tried the strategy out a few times and it works a lot, depending on who you attack.
Try get a lvl 5 barbarian king too, to put you ahead.
