    This is simply a matter of balancing so that Hog riders don't ignore Hero's when they are attacked.

    I read this after just having my base 100%'d by hog riders, my clan uses them in war still, they are fast enough to get away from heroes and other's heroes take out the defenders because even if they have lvl10 heroes and you're attacking with level 5's their special ability puts them on par.. I Don't feel like they got nerfed if you use giants or cannon fodder troops the right way ... Sucks seeing my base 100%'d but that's the game!

    1.5 x giant bombs , heroes must be lured out

    I have lvl 5 hogs but now they become useless after new update- 1.) 1.5x giant bombs, 2.) heroes cannot be lured out now. Plz fix it ASAP!!!!!!!![/QUOTE]

    Why on earth would a bomb do extra damage to a hog and not other troops? Makes no sense.

    teslas target pekkas for more.... This makes sense. Heroes are defenses. Farming has been reduced to barch and gobs.

    Anyone saying they successfully still three star bases are attacking weak and poorly designed bases. Even a moderately thought out base plan wont get three starred by hogs ever again. The strategy is gone.

    Got to revive this post. I had 10 hogs, 1 king, wiz and a couple archers left in a war attack after destroying all defenses. Enemies Archer queen was dead but King was alive. All defensive buildings destroyed. My hogs hopped around destroying pumps and other useless buildings while the enemies King was slaughtering my hogs one by one. My hogs refused to re-target the King. If I was attacking a building and then saw a freakin giant coming at me with a sword I am pretty sure I would turn and defend myself VS sitting there like an idiot and continuing to attack a building while I am getting disemboweled by a giant with a giant sword. It makes no sense. Even a completely unintelligent animal, if hurt, will defend itself so why not a hog rider? A hog rider is a person riding a hog. Your telling me the person riding the hog isn't smart enough to re-target a more hostile unit or defend itself? Mind you all defensive buildings were destroyed so the hog rider should be able to pick and choose intelligently whether or not to continue whaling at this inert building that has no hostility or defend itself from a blood thirsty giant with a huge deadly sword. It is just stupid and SuperCell made hogs stupid.

    Bottom line, give hog riders the ability to defend themselves at least AFTER the defense structures are wiped out. It says in their description, they favor defensive targets. So let the hog riders perform their mission in life, their urge to kill defensive structures and nothing else ignoring head shots from the archer queen, sword swipes from the king and pokes and prods from the clan troops and skeleton traps until all the defensive structures are being destroyed like it currently is. THEN, when all defensive structures are destroyed, give them some freedom to make choices. If they are being attacked by an archer queen, a barb king, skeleton traps or clan troops allow the hogs to defend themselves!

    You guys have nerfed the hogs with 1.5x double bombs (which makes no sense why they would cause 1.5x damage to hogs but not to anyone else like a giant or queen or king who wear cloth armor. Maybe hog riders are allergic to gun powered I don't know. Maybe you should provide a description as to WHY double bombs cause 1.5x damage to hogs because it is not obvious like teslas causing 2x damage for Pekkas. Pekkas are obviously covered in metal armor. It makes sense for teslas to cause 2x damage to Pekkas.) So be it. But give the hogs the intelligence to defend themselves.
