I've noticed a lot of people do not understand that offense and defense cannot be equal or balanced and still have and enjoyable game. In order to attack a defender successfully the attacker must have at least a 3 to 1 advantage. Bare minimum. Anything less and the attackers odds of success dwindle drastically. That is why troops need to over power defense consistently. If you want a game where you just log in and just collect what your mines and pumps produce maybe HayDay is better suited for you.
Because there is no reward for winning and pumps alone cannot provide enough income to sustain development, we are forced to attack. Therefore offense should always be "OP" in order to support and sustain a game driven by attacking for development. Unless of course you feel like buying all of your upgrades....
Only noobs would need this feature. Single giants bombs L1 still don't kill L5 hogs. Hogs still 3 star when I need them to - so don't see what the issue is.

I hate when things like this happen. I don't use hogs myself, I don't like to waste my DE, but I hate it when Balloons start targeting the cannon not shooting anything rather than the airdefense shooting them all down.
I'm using the old rolleyes emoji. I'm happy they added more but... I will always roll my eyes using the emoji that is now called "smirk"

Cant believe people are still going on about this. A bad workman/woman blames his/her tools! The hogs are only as good as the person deploying them. I use different types of attacks in clan wars depending on what is better for the base i'm attacking. Used hogs 3 times now since the update and 3 starred every one of them
Totally agree with this idea.
Please actually read what this tread is about. Hogs were OP, we can accept the nerf with the giant bombs. This is not about personal skills in using hog riders. This thread is about how Hero defensive towers aren't being targeted as defensive towers.
Example: Its like having another wizard tower blasting your units and your units refusing to attack it until all other defensive towers have been destroyed. Its not about rollbacks or Hero's being overpowered. It is simply a balancing issue.
Defensive towers and units such as Clan Castle Troops and Towers are all targeted by barbs and archers once within range. Hero Units shouldn't be an exception given their damage and new range with the recent update.
This is simply a matter of balancing so that Hog riders don't ignore Hero Units when they are attacked. Given that Hero Units can actively defend a base, they should be treated as a defensive tower when active.
