Why is BARCH and BAM fowned upon during CW?

Because it gets 1 star. Clan Wars us about getting stars and barch gets the least amount possible.

Anyone who uses an army that can only ever get 1 star is a leech.

But what if I got 2 stars with BARCH? Would that change peoples viewpoint?

then you could have barch a th lvl one or two below yours... that way you would have gotten two or maybe three star... but still... you'd be bash because you took someone not your size stealing proper targer for lower th lvl of your own clan...

and can easily 3 another lv 88 on enemy side
im doing it on my th7 mini you should be able to too lol

Hey guys, Im not the biggest fan of CW anyway but ever since I got TH9 I have been using BARCH or BAM in CW because I am always upgrading something with my lix. What I dont get is even though the only base that I could get a star on that wasnt already 2/3 starred was their number 7 (I was number 46) I was told that I should have attacked someone closer to my #. I didnt understand because the lowest base without a star was #22 and all others were 2/3 starred and I had clearly stated I was BARCHing. I was then told not to use BARCH... This confused me further as BARCH is a perfectly fine trophy hunting strat and is the only one army comp I use (Im gonna start doing Balloonion but my archers are going to 6 in the lab atm). So I wanted to know why are BARCH and BAM looked down on during CW?

It's really a matter of circumstances in the war your currently in. As you described above, I see no reason for disallowing you to BARCH the only base you can star. If however, you chose to BARCH that base when you had other bases available for 3 stars, even through BARCHing, this would lead me to believe that you're solely after the loot.

Clan members: we will spend tons of elixer on armies trying to get us the most stars to win the war, but u, u go ahead and only use 33k army and be a waste of space to help win the war

You should be using an army that maximizes stars obtained for your clan.

Same here. Auto kick for this strat. It's selfish and when using it in war u are basically saying I don't want to do my part I just want loot bonus and want to ride on the clans back. Im wondering if this whole post is a trolling because it's pretty easy to see why this strat is awful for war.

So, if I 2 or maybe 3 stared my 'recomended' target with BARCH, you'd kick me? To be honest, if I felt that doing so was founded upon, I simply leave anyway.

Not even noobs use goblins for clan war or in fact for farming. 200 goblins o.o never seen it. If you did please post so i can watch

I just wanted to clarify that I have almost no lix atm. I also am the worst trophy hunter you'll ever meet and hate CW so unless you want me to get no stars then let me BARCH. So because I got 1 star on their #7 and only use BARCH I'm a waste of space?? Is CW everything that matters now because if you think that I dont agree...

I know I am only mid tier level but all the bases that were low/mid leveled had been 2/3 starred when I got on. Therefore I attacked an almost max TH10 because I could 50% him.

With level 3 dragons, you can two star many th10s.

Stop being such a cheapskate, attack with mass dragons and show your clan mate what you can do.
