Now someone has to get that one star with a serious army and another person has to go and 3 star a base in your area.
this is why staying in your range is important, you took a fight from someone else.

Thanks to everyone who has replied whether nicely or not. I have decided that I will be Balloonioning from now on as I can now understand what CW is about. I have also resolved issues about CW with my leader and am good to stay. Thank you again to all those responses.

I'm honestly surprised that this is a serious topic. You don't seem to understand what CW is all about. Ballinion is still a cheap comp. Throw some Dragon's in there. You're expected to use your BEST troops in CW. If all you do is BARCH then you better start upgrading your other troops. I don't know how you don't have decent troops at level 88. Get your PEKKAs, Golems, Wizards, Dragons, Witches, etc. upgraded.

Deliberately upgrading Archer and emptying your own elixir during prep day and then used that as an excuse to barch at clan war ? Couldn't wait even another day to upgrade ? Bwaha ha ha ha......

I have a clan member who did that in our last war. Told him not to attack at all. I'd rather risk losing than have someone did that. You know why ? Because once this thing allowed, everyone will use the exact same excuse forever more...

ugh. trophy hunting and trying to 3 star a same lvl base as you'r own are NOT the same things. Barch and bam have no place in clan wars. I would have booted you.

There's nothing wrong with BARCH, your clan is obvious not very considerate and want to win the war at all costs..
I BAMmed once and got two stars

When your clan is going to war, ask someone to kick you then invite you back after the war matchmaking is done. Plain and simple, you don't go to war and you go BARCH your way till you drop.

    Easy like a lemon squeezy.

I stopped reading after the first page, due to so much ignorance...

I've helped my daughter with a few raids here and there, from TH7-TH8. We can quite consistently get 2 stars in Clan Wars, using b-arch, as long as we have spells, heroes, and CC available. Sometimes it gets close to 3 stars. This is against similar-strength bases - picking on a weaker base can give a good shot at 3 stars; against a really weak base, easy 3 stars (e.g. TH7 vs TH6).

I've also seen some pretty hopeless attacks, costing way more, that end up getting 0-1 stars. All sorts of armies - mass dragons, wizard-healer, giant-healer, etc etc.

Basically, it's not just the army you chose to use, it's your planning and execution - pick the right base for your army, and know how to execute your raid.

If 2 stars isn't enough for your clan, especially now that hogs are not an easy 3-stars, maybe you need to look for another?

This is true for sure, but given equal skill there are far stronger armies to use which help your clan more.

yes i understand your gameplay preference and the lack of elixir, but let's not forget the higher tier people in your clan that have spent countless MILLIONS in elixir for all those war castle troops AND reinforcements for everyone's two attacks.

They have given their best and clearly (through the logic of this being a topic at all) would appreciate it if you used high level solid strategies that consistently net more stars on average than a barch raid. Evidently they appreciate you on some level or you'd have been kicked by now. Clearly, though they want more.

On the flip side - I'm confident there are more relaxed casual war clans out there that are happy to keep things chill and would appreciate your membership. This is YOUR gameplay, not someone else's - simply afford them the consideration of their feelings by either adjusting your gameplay to fit or finding a clan that is a better fit to your preference already.

At the end of the day it's a social game.
