Ill pile on here too, its not 'Hype' its effective.
and Ill add; you don't need to hit the 'maxed-out lvl 11, full' collectors offering 250k in order to profit. when you use Barch (or any variant, I augment with Giant/WB, and some gobs when needed) then any base with more than 80k is a profit, and if you win you get the loot bonus too.
if you straight Barch, then your compo should cost you under 60K even with maxed troops. 220 lvl 6 all arch army is 66K...so if you do half Barbs then its 110 Barbs x (150 each elix) = 16.5k elix. + 110 Arch (x 300) 33k elix = 49.5K to make your army.. (unless you spam a lot of spells to get the score) so that right there is a cheap army. cheaper if you don't have maxed troops.. cooks in like 20 minutes if you empty the camps..if you use Giants/WBs/Spells then obviously the cost goes up, and you will need to recover more to profit.. but that makes logical sense too. Save the Giants/WBs/Spells for those raids that truly need it, and use the BAGs to get the rest..
I get in, I get the loot, I get out.. if you have 35-40 or so % of the base gone, then a few more troops may be worth the extra couple percent to get that win and a bonus.. if not, when you get too low, and the THs are frequently two-below your current TH, then smash them up for easy trophies (or snipe some farmer THs) and climb back up with the same troop compo..
I will agree with you though, I hunt for storages more than collectors.. some easily accessed storages make for some easy looting..all the Trophy-esque layouts sacrifice some degree of storage accesability to try to keep their cup count..makes it easier to get the goods IMO..
and now the BK/AQ wont chase your troops down so if the storages are on the opposite side then you are good to go!
The clan castle troops can still be lured in the same manner, so use the same technique to dispose of them..
YMMV; Farm on Clasher!
