And as the fellow once said, that's all I got to say 'bout that.........
Mind if I ask who told you this? Also, did they provide any kind of reference, or was it probably a generic email response from a tech support center based in India?

It's long gone --- but I don't think it came from or listed an individual. It looked like a stock/standard reply. Funny thing is I got an invite to rate their support service on my recent request BEFORE I received the reply.

    Ha! Typical

I can only imagine you gave them amazingly high marks, right?

So, still no written documentation stating the CoC is not to be played on a PC.

I have carefully read the TOS and I agree completely with Snarg. There is a mythology that TOS prohibits playing on a PC which is operating Android or a simulated version of Android but it is simply not true. The TOS does prohibit you from modifying Clash of Clans to use as a Windows program.

From the mouth of a moderator.

It is not a myth, it is against TOS as use of third party software.

    This should end the discussion.

Not really. No offense to Daddy, I have great respect for him and his position, but he is a moderator, not a SuperCell employee. Android emulators in no way, shape or form modify or interfere with the service. As far as the service is concerned, it is an Android device connected to it.

I would agree with that BUT, running it on a PC makes it a heck of a lot easier to...... huhhhh, never mind.

After reading the discussions here, I think yeah, I doubt that it will be prohibited as long as you won't use it for any other sort (che*ting etc.) I hope someone clears the topic. I'm with my PC (laptop) more than my tablet soooooo
