Would people place all their barbarians kings together and how would the attackers counter that. Couple of golems and a craphouse of wizards... ahh the options
I think this would be an amazing addition to the game. Only one question though, who would be in the war council?

Sounds awesome but how would loot be distributed? I guess you could get a certain amount for each TH depending on what level the TH was?
This may be cool but it wouldn't fit clash...it's just like kabam's edgeworld, domination map, I wouldn't want to see this personally it probably wouldn't even be able to be added to the game if they wanted. It's just to massive (edgeworld is a PC only game btw)
First off,the base would be too difficult to not get three starred. The only option is first clan base to get three-starred loses,which would not work because of time zones.
Also what is preventing low level players from placing level 1 defense in crucial spaces? And who places the town hall?

I am trying to understand the complexity of the design. Below are some questions that come to my mind. Please forgive me if I fail to completely understand the idea or my questions have already been answered.
1. Who is allowed to edit and design the all THs map? Only leaders or all the members? If all members can edit than how the conflicts are maintained (implementation complexity)
2. Similar complexity lies in the attacks. I suppose members are allowed to attack only one by one.
3. I am not sure how easy or complex would it be to design the gigantic map.

*off the top of my head i would use a check-out / check in approach. Members could request access from the leaders / elders. Leaders have the ability to undo a checkout.

Pretty complex which brings in the epic factor, one big scrollable map.
Potentially this could be used for tournaments. A clan Registers for a tournament. Each clan gets given a period of time to prepare their clan. then a group enters the battle stage with sudden death knockout rounds eventually leading to an ultimate clan tournament winner.
**probably too big an approach to ever be implemented but it was fun dreaming it up ;-)
