Before this update we had people complaining about "Hog Wars" and rightly so, as Hog Riders was overused in Clan Wars. But this update was completely unnecessary.
Now they are completely unusable against Anti-Hog Base. People who complain about them are those that don't know how to play the game, why should the rest of the players suffer for that?
Lets look at SC actions that has killed the Hog Riders:
- Multi Mode Inferno Towers: This mode is only introduced to counter the Hog Riders. Lets be honest, why else would they make Heal Spell useless against it?
- Increased cost of Hog Rider: If you remember, while back SC increased the cost of Hog Riders. Many may not think this as a nerf but I do, as I am someone who dislikes wasting tons of rare resources. I don't know what SC was thinking exactly but if I had to guess, it would be to make more money.
- Upgradable Traps: This meant Exploding Bombs are much more stronger and better at dealing with Hog Riders. Which is a good thing, best update dealign with Hogs.
- Exploding Bombs favourite target is now Hog Riders: This is the final nail in the coffin.
- Heroes cannot be lured: Now Heroes will take down several Hog Riders.
The update that was unnecessary is the Increased cost of Hog Rider and Making Hog Riders the favourite target for Explosive Bombs.
SC, why couldn't you just give TH8 and TH9 the extra level for Explosive Bombs. That would have been enough to help them deal with Hogs. You constantly been nerfing the Hog Riders ever since YOU made them target the defenses. How many more nerfs do they need before they are completely unusable? Whats wrong with them being used the most? What is wrong with that? Hog Riders are everyone's favourite troops, whats wrong with that? What is the need to constantly nerf everyone's favourite troops.
