Yeah, many people overestimate the xbow at times, so its good to make such comparison to show that even a maxed tesla at TH8 can be comparable to a level 3 xbow.

On topic: I'm currently doing 2 Tesla, 1 Air Def, 2 Cannon/Archer Twr.
Can't wait to maxed out 2 tesla on the 3rd of May, and all tesla maxed out on 9th of May..

but I guess lv7 tesla will be out by then, but thats most probably for TH9..
as if pekka are not weak enough already

I think teslas are really good. And they aren't very expensive either as I usually raid 4 million gold per day. I have both my teslas maxed in TH7 (lvl3), and i'm immediately going to work on them when getting TH8.

The main reason people don't upgrade their teslas early is because they come in handy only when you're defending at high trophy levels where dragons and esp. pekkas come into play.. so first they farm and upgrade all the other defences that help at lower trophy levels.. and then when it's time to move up on trophies where pekka attacks are regular then it's wise to upgrade teslas before moving up

I have to disagree with this. Teslas are extremely valuable at low trophies where everyone farms with tier one troops that can be brought down by a tesla very quickly. Sure they are also valuable at a high trophy range but to suggest they are avoided at low trophies for the reason you stated is not true.

Teslas are the best defence against wall breakers. They can one shot L6 archers at L6 too.
