It is really about proper planning with your base. I would hate it if Supercell did something like.... make it so any base design "works" no matter how bad it is because you have an "anti-*enter any troop here*" device.

that would just be shameful...........

I've been hogging central hero bases all morning. Not one loss yet. 2-3 stars everytime(ok, I goofed one and dropped heals instead of a troop).

Ironically, a similar post can be made about people who are now failing to use hogs effectively despite them still being an effective troop.
