Great video! I'm finding that it's very common to lose that one elixir storage which is no big deal to me as elixir is quite plentiful. I liked how they bunched up in the corner but at least the attacker was quite persistent!
I think so too but it was quite interesting, the attacker actually tried to test for the double bomb but if got redirected to the tesla (you can see the location at the very bottom beside the tesla). They may need a few more hogs to really test those locations as they either went for the corners or that tesla.
This is really my personal preference as I went from xbows all the way from level 1 to level 3. I was pretty vulnerable during that time as it was pretty much a maxed th8. I think it really depends on how much you farm (judging from the walls that you have, you seem to farm quite a bit). I did xbows straight to level 3 while 2 wizard towers to max leaving one builder for walls so I didn't keep much spare gold. I felt I was pretty weak without xbows so I preferred to be completely vulnerable for a shorter period of time rather than just partially for a long period of time. I went for xbows, wizard towers, mortars, archer towers, AD, cannons/tesla in that order.
Feel free to change it up once you are at th9, it's part of the fun of testing and tweaking bases, if you ever follow my base, I generally make small tweaks after every attack based on what I observe. It doesn't always work well and sometimes worth just starting over from scratch
Very cool Pham, I think I do agree with Wh33ls in regards to the wall staggering. I got attacked this afternoon that frustrated me a bit as the attacker got a 41% but was able to take out the town hall as most of the splash went away and the xbows were targeting stray barbarians while the AQ was hitting the town hall. The idea of the teslas would definitely help in that core although it somewhat creates a 3x3 core. What I'm thinking of using your idea is avoiding that extra "push" out where the elixir storages are and adding that to the side of the gold storages so there is still the staggered walls. but that changes the placement of the corners a bit so I'll play around with it tonight/tomorrow but I think you're onto something!

Let me know how it works out, I must say that it's a bit more effective with a maxed core than weak xbows.
Personally I LOVE the Ringus, my whole clan did. The only reason we went away from it is that it became used a bit too much. I do think the Ringus is definitely one of the best farming bases I've ever used though.
Pham is definitely correct, it's really still under development. I have never used a trophy base before so really learning this all from scratch. With any base that's under trial and error, I wouldn't recommend using it unless you're willing to lose resources. I'm at a point it's really just walls for me so I don't mind too much leaving it for testing purposes. Here were some screenies of the battle which would have been very different with teslas in the core as Pham suggested (description of the attack above):

Currently testing this base out. This base is certainly one the better built ones I have seen in awhile... Thanks for sharing.
I switched out the telsa and builder hut position. I have also moved the cannons to the north funnels to prevent luring of the cc from giants...
I have only had one decent attack against me so far which where attacker used 9 L3 Drags and 10 L5 wiz with a couple heals and a rage, got 35%. The base held up very well.
Looking forward to seeing how this base hold up against different army compositions.

Very nice defense! Those are some great walls with just being 1 week at TH9! Beautiful!
It is the downside of a small core as the defenses have much smaller range so if they breach the core, it can be a bit easier for an AQ to get to all of the storages. 8 healers though is 112 troop space, was that all the attacker deployed? What spells did they use? Although it's really more of an anti-defense led design, I'd love to hear more about the attack or even a screenie at the very end of the attack as I can walk backwards from there. Sorry to see any loot lost.
Thanks for sharing the video, I must say I really like the switch of the tesla and builder huts too along with the cannons to the north funnel. Watching the video, it was pretty smart of you to have that upgrading tesla on the same side as a live tesla to fool the attacker too.
Thanks for sharing! That's not a bad defense at all, I had a similar attack on me where mass archers seems to be a problem. I appreciate you taking the time to post these replays, they are invaluable and I have no idea how to record =)

For those that have any interest in the trophy design, I haven't had time to update it yet but had 2 more attacks on me using the current one. The first one cleared out my CC and right side.

The second one had a much easier time with some of the overlapping spring traps taken out:
What I'm seeing in part is the shorter funnels in the trophy design even with just a few walls allow the archers/barbarians easier access to the storages as they don't have to travel down the path while being targeted about 1/2 more hits from splash.
