    I'll give the base a 2nd try now my defences are stronger

    But y you guys don't put the heroes into the non defence ring?

    I was not saying that quicksand is the best base just wanted to share it with the community. And ADs always depends on your cup range.

    I've tried this base in my beginning of th9 (there are some vids on the first sides of this thread) but my core and other defences were to weak
    Now my core is maxed and some other defences too. I want to give that base a 2nd shot

    Awesome base. Only thing I would say is that a lot of your defenses included are from masters league and people are mainly going for 50% for trophies, which isn't realistic for the 1500-2200 trophy farmer.

    I'm at TH10 now so I don't really have the latest farming version of the base. There's really been so many changes throughout, in part, it's just editing it based on what you see on replays. I've raided a few versions of it as a TH10 and I must say a freeze in the middle really hurts the base.

    I completely agree, giant/wiz wrecks this base design, the only thing I found that helped with it was modifying non-def ring to have bombs in the middle of the storages (did this in champ to combat gowiwi) which worked really well.

    Giant/barch wasn't too much of a problem but giant/wiz does wreck this base.

    I think I didn't have them in there because they were upgrading, I didn't want to have the alter as an easy item to lightning inside of the ring but if you look at "farm sanctuary" for "loyalist", you should see the heroes in the non defensive layer.

    Personally I really liked quicksand especially as a newer th9, I think the funneling and compartments are better for dealing with farming troops. I used the koops design at the very beginning of th9 and I thought quicksand was a really nice improvement on it that really made use of those extra walls too.

    I somewhat shied away from the 2x2 core just due to the lack of firepower centrally although for TH10, I went back to the design without using a hog ring.

    I can see why you'd say that but the base was originally designed as a anti-hog/loon base which is what you'd normally be expected to see being attacked at that range at that time when the base was created. I purely farmed in M3-champs in preparation for TH10 attacking and between that and gowipe/gowiwi, that's all I was ever attacked with. No base can defend vs all types of armies and vs giants/wiz that you may see more in the lower range, this base is horrible unless trap placements are changed.

    Hey Moonsabre, been using your base since July and followed the improvements/adjustments made on it. Its a five star base indeed. I made a couple of adjustments though and may need to adjust some with regards to the T-junctions in the future.

    Trying to build the lava walls (3M) which is at 3 walls a day max. Very tough but it pays off!

    I'm using one of my prior variations of cogwheel, you can find me under farm sanctuary. "xman" in the clan is using my prior version while infernos were upgrading. I liked at the very end of TH9, the corners ended up having just the wizard tower as I had moved the walls into the second layer to further split up the non-def layer.

    To be honest though, I have no idea if it is any good or not yet. I'm farming in champs as I have my camps done (elixir is a bit stagnant) while gold and DE flows in. Of the last month I've been farming here, I've only been attacked by a full army 3 times closer to the 3500-3600 range, 2 stars, 5 storages each time with gowipe/gowiwi. Some of my def are upgrading so the position of defences and inner buildings kinda change.

    Very nice base! I like those alterations that you've made here! One small thing you may find to be useful is just to put the small bombs in between the storages to deal with barch armies. Have you thought about moving that cannon sitting outside into the core instead? Looking great with those walls!
