The Cogwheel - TH9 Anti Hog/Balloonian Farming Base

With maxed defenses and semi-strong walls, I just got 3 Starred by a TH10 with Maxed troops GoGiWiWi +Heroes. Just goes to show you that you can't defend against everything, all the time, especially with a decent attacker.

I'm a 3/4 maxed TH9 with 50% legos in gold 1 and the last 2 non-th-snipes on this base lost me 250k gold each (2 stars). IMO the core isnt strong enough to support the ring spread.

That is my last defence of my first trophy pushing before the descent. My town hall was outside.
More than half legos done, and I had town hall 8 defences except level 3 x-bows and level 7 mortars.

What were those attacks out of curiosity. In Gold this has done very well for me. Lot's of Giant attacks that get shut down.

Moon said that you really need a maxed core. It is also not really an anti-giant/wiz design(hogs/loon focused design).

I have been using the trophy version to push and its working great. The only disadvantage i found were the healers. They last a lot in that base.
