[Food for Thought] For TH8ers out there that are maxing out before going on to TH9

I plan on doing barracks upgrades while waiting for the town hall to finish, If I can get the barracks all to level 9 ill be happy but I'd say 9/8/8/8 is minimum for TH 9 to be able to get the easiest to compute barracks distributions. Dark barracks if I've got the time I might do, mine are 3/1 right now.

depending on how things work out I may move to TH 9 with non-maxed air defense, right now I think some xbows look much more interesting! The difference between raiding someone with or without xbows is huge IMO

The key is to like the level u are at. Stay there and master it. Dominate it for as long as u can. The best stages of any TH level are the later stages. Spend more time in the later stages of the level and profit from it.

i decided to upgrade my dark barracks because I might use them for something one day. Maybe. Hopefully. Whatever, it can't hurt....

Agreed. I've actually seen premature lvl 9 without xbows, and I'm like ♥♥♥? Why did they even go th 9 without getting the key th9 defensive set piece? Definite must attack if they have enough resources.

Currently I am having 87/225 black walls.
so 138 more walls to upgrade.
138*500k=69mil
Assuming each upgrade is 2m, I will require 18 more "Max Gold Storage" timing.

Still planning my builder timing, but should be possible.
haven't include 3rd Lv11 elixir storage, 2nd lv3 dark barrack, 4 lv10 barrack, and lv8, lv9, lv10 bk upgrade.

Yeah,I nearly got everything maxed out except for all the barracks in general and a couple arrow towers.

Also want to get my walls to all black.. Gonna take awhile since I only got like a quarter done.

Yeah.. I don't mind spendng more time at TH8.
I don't want 50% loot penalty on TH7 just yet..

And if I move on to th9, I will be rushing to get AQ.. 2 xbow.. lab 6.. lv6 troops.. where got time to bother about small stuff like dark barracks etc.

where got time to waste time on upgrading barrack that reduce my $ inflow for those upgrades >.<

Guess I will upgrade every single building except

-collectors
-troop upgrades(no time to do all, only 1 lab..)

my BK will most probably be Lv10 by then. Lv7 now.

Just calculated I need a total of 216 more days to max out everything including Lv10 Barracks, Lv3 dark barracks..
Including 10 days of TH upgrade is 226.. 226/5 = 45.2..
45 days from now.. thats May 18.. oh god :eek:

I agree on upgrading it all, I knew this was going to be a grind just looking at the cost of everything upgradeable during TH8. I didn't know it would be 216 days of a grind... and I am behind you >.<

I might as well have some fun with all the DE troops they release over the next 8 months of TH8 :P
