Impossible you say?
All that SC needs to do, and I am sure it would be reluctantly, is get rid of Hero upgrade times.
How would this help?
First, Heroes are easily the most important part of the game, even more so with the new changes to them. They are a critical part of attack AND defense. On attack, now that the heroes of the opposition cannot be simply lured in to a corner and killed before an attack (I call attack foreplay), the importance of having your own heroes to counter is more important than ever. Yet the accumulation of time it takes for Heroes to upgrade is insane!
Here are some numbers from the CoC wiki page:
Barbarian King:
Cumulative Training Cost: 3,752,500 dark elixir
Cumulative Training Time: 227 days 12 hours
Archer Queen
Cumulative Training Cost: 4,172,500 dark elixir
Cumulative Training Time: 227 days 12 hours
Total Cost: 7,925,000 dark elixir
Total Time: 455 builder days
Yeah, that's asinine.
As if stealing 8million dark elixir isn't difficult enough, you're forced to go 227 days without being able to use the most important troop in the game, on attack or defense.
What at problems would be fixed?
1. Allowing players to use their Heroes would mean that storage farming isn't completely dead with the new AI for heroes as a defense building. With the attack able to use their own heroes to counter those of the defender. And vice-versa.
2. Heroes will be available for Clan Wars on attack and defense at all times. There are already several threads you can find that will show that this would be a major improvement.
3. This would fix the problem in Champions League by allowing more players to survive/farm above 3200 cups (doing it without heroes is near impossible). For those of you who have never been in Champs, the matchmaking system is beyond broken. At the lower end of Champs, most battle options that come up are people from Master 1 or 2. These offer about 5 cups for a win and -32 for a loss. After lots of searching you may find a base of a fellow champion for a regular cup offer. In the higher end of Champions, it can take up to an hour or two just to find a single base! These usually offer 1 cup for a victory. The reason for this is there are not enough people above 3200 cups for there to be a consistent supply of bases that aren't already on a shield. If more people could maintain a high cup level, this problem would go away.
With the high bonus and abundance of loot, most high level farmers would be encouraged to remain above 3200 for good. And if we all had Heroes available instead of sleeping 227 days, this would be possible.
