Ya, that is a problem I run into with my combinations as well. Its absolutely solid for 2 stars but if I need to 3 star a lower base it seems to struggle. Same issue really, you get knee deep in the core and once the momentum of the jump spell wears off your getting hammered
I am currently trying to soar up our sister clan Death's Door1.5 and am heads and shoulders the strongest base/attacker (only advanced Th10 of 2 Th10). So we got matched against a crew with some seriously premature Th10 bases.
I ran HeHo-WiVa. 4 healers, 15 hogs (7 in CC), 10-11 Valkyrie, 1 giant, 3 archers, 3 wizards, 2 witches. 1 rage, 1 jump, 2-3 heal and 0-1 freeze
Used tactics I have gleaned off of SadistKandra, Nigel Momongan (youtube), and hienhuynhtm.
1st lured - Witches/Wizards dealing with CC and possibly a hero if I could
2nd Deploy Valkyrie into 2 groups with 2 healers apiece. The goal is actually to get them to attract fire outside the range of air defense (or take them out quickly). Use jump to get them inside. (try and get at least one royal in there path)
3rd Use hogs to rush the core, try and time it so the two groups sort of meet
4th - Add the royals to the pack heading towards the core (this varies in timing)
5th - Strategically use the heal spells to keep the hogs or Valkyrie alive, depending on what the healers do
My 1st attack was saved by 52 levels of heros. Triggered a lot of spring traps even though I spread my hogs out.My units seemed bent on ignoring the inferno. Still scrapped up a 100% on a premature Th10 with 1 inferno
2nd attack was much better and I actually managed a pincer style deployment. Wizards/Witches in the center. One group of valks running along the edge and another just on the inside of the opposite layer - healers keeping them going. Then as the groups formed a rough u shape, sent in the hogs on the side where my U was on the otter edge of the base and on the opposite redirected my valks to meet them in the middle. I totally annihilated the base, both witches, 2 wizards, 11 hogs, a very healthy king, 4 minions that someone got into my build survived the battle - though the last of my Valkyries was vaulted by a spring trap. Great attack - too bad it wasn't that strong a base
Against a strong Th10 though, I think healers don't have enough heal. They really need a 5th level too

I am really liking the addition of hogs.
It seems more stable in making sure my valkyries gets into the core.
This is on a pretty maxed base where i got no chance of getting out...

I've been experimenting with Valks but have trouble getting them into the core - they tend to target around the edges.

Do you guys use wall breakers? I'm not sure how well it'll work with valks, but the new strategy with gowipe is to wall breaker into the core, and use the jump to get out of the core
