Let's start talking about farming post update!

Well folks, the update is going to bring a lot of changes and I'd like to give my thoughts on farming and see what others think. I understand we won't know everything until we do some experimenting but we should start planning! So here's my thoughts:

    1. BAM - I don't see much changing here except it may be a bit more difficult to get th a DE storage without being able to lure the queen. Collector raids are nonexistant anyway.
    2. BARCH - for those who are lucky enough to find collector raids it probably will be easier cuz you don't have to waste troops killing heroes. We will have to wait and see how the attacking of one wall segment affects it.
    3. Giants - I don't see how a giant based army is going to be effective anymore unless heroes are down. Heroes wreck giants.
    4. Miniball - probably the least affected strategy but not being able to lure the AQ may kill some raids.
    5. Hogs - Same as giants. I see no way for a full hog attack to be effective any longer. This may create hybrid attacks with hogs targeting specific defenses and then other troops following for clean up.

    Thoughts?

BAM - probably right, won't be much change here, but you can't say collector raids are nonexistant. I can still constantly find good collector raids, might have to next a few more times, but they're still out there.

BARCH- really not much change except for the troops focusing on one wall collectively to break through. Sure, they'll be more susceptible to splash damage all in one spot, but they'll break through it faster, and once it's broken you can send in another wave through the wall. Even with the hero lure I don't bother luring heroes in a BARCH raid, I just drop a few extra troops when the hero does get lured to the attack and then continue as planned.

Giants - A giant based army is still just as effective as it was before, but a good giant army is dependent on the troops backing them up such as archers or wizards. One army comp I use with giants consists of around 20 giants and 15 wizards and a smattering of archers, once the giants break into the base and I've cleared some of the outer buildings I drop in the gang of wizards to follow into the base, and if a hero comes wandering by a group of wizards makes SHORT work of those heroes while they're distracted ♥♥♥♥ing away at the giants.

Hogs - This army is still just as effective. Hogs themselves aren't getting nerfed, giant bombs are just getting buffed a bit, but if you've been hogging enough you know better than to send in your whole hog force at once, you send in a few where you think the GB's will be, trigger and blow them, then send in the rest of the hog force. Any experienced hogger will tell you you don't go in with an all hog army anyways, you always follow them up with some tier one troops or wizards/minions.
