Best update ever... On paper anyway

So, logically, we should have an update that makes it even EASIER for th 9s to crush th 8s, according to you?

i never talked about improving TH9 opportunities..
With the new update YOU, as a TH8 will defend better than you did before..
Only attacking a TH9 gets harder.. IF it gets harder, in my oppinion it does not, because hogs shouldn't be your choice for your normal army..

Ah and how do you feel about TH7 ? Those get wrecked by TH8 easily - like you mentioned before.

Stay low and th8 will have np.... Want the gems? Prestige? Of the higher leagues? Get the equipment you need up there.....pretty much common sence . And it was just as difficult in my day as it is in yours.. But the same common thread is still here... Upgrade to progress.

Thats nice, but I want to be able to fight in wars, and fight and defend well. I'm just saying that this update is bad for th 8s who were already taking the short end of the stick, and that if there is to be an update, there should be more balance, not more imbalance

Th8 Players -

You have a full complement of building and lab upgrades (often 2 levels just at th8)

A formerly useless unit that you can unlock is now viable - Valk

Your king got a stat buff and more bang to his abilities

Your giant bombs were buffed

I as th8 once, what do you expect a new troop? Upgrade then, th9 is the one next slated for a DE troop if it's ever released. If your th10 the only new thing added is infernos.

I am not understanding all the beef with this new update by th 8'ers....I just got to th 10, and I was done messing with AQ or Bk for a while, since they were only good to attack with, no defensive capability due to being lured and killed like nothing. This update changes my strategy, now that they can help defensively, I am going to start upgrading them more. For months all I heard was how th 8's had no shot against lvl 5 hogs, now they do and yet its still a problem. The fact of the matter is this, like with every update, at first its different, than a few weeks later your reading the forums on strategies of how to exploit new changes. I am one who is just happy they keep the game fresh and do adjust things that are wrong with it, rather than just staying the same. Give it a few weeks, than judge, hard to judge when no one really knows of the strength or weaknesses of the update, just speculating.

I don't get why people complain. For goodness sake, I don't get level 5 P.E.K.K.A's or level 3 Jump Spell, or the level 8 Tesla, but I'm not whining. If you want new stuff, there's an easy way to get it, upgrade your TH. If you want to stay at your TH then stay there and don't whine about it or quit, nobody wants to read all the people whining about how hard TH8 is, just enjoy the game, you don't need new stuff to have fun. If you do, then, again, go get the new stuff. If you do but don't want to rush/gem, then tough it out...nobody wants to hear you whine.

The extra attacking power for the th 9s way outweighs the fact that the useless on defense BK doesn't leave his post. And th 9s benefit from THAT more, having the archer queen sitting around sniping headshots from the safety of the walls. And yes, hogs are my choice, and thats my choice. And btw, th 7 was AWESOME. It was an offensive powerhouse, while th 8 is basically just a more walled th 7 with higher loot penalties.

Really? You went there? I'm arguing against an unfair update, I'm not here to bother you, I'm here to try to reason with you on why this update shouldn't happen.
