The "un-lurable" heroes now really just make it 2 additional defensive buildings. Keep in mind they won't be free to roam the base, they have a fixed radius and from reviewing the youtube video it looks like around 8-10 tiles so no different than an archer tower/cannon.

So what we got is something that was asked for, new defensive buildings in the way of useful heroes.

As mentioned what this means is more strategy involved in identifying this radius just like you do any other def tower and planning accordingly. I for one like this update and think it adds much more strategy and game-play on both a defensive base building side but also on an attacking side as well.

Also keep in mind that these heroes will still die as usual so just like traps so you won't always be facing heroes on every attack either from a hero regenerating or upgrading.

About time. Their defensive ability today is pretty much useless. Heroes are supposed to be a powerful unit and shouldn't be easily gets lured and killed by tier 1 troops in the corner.

    Good job SuperCell!

Why would anyone like this change? Who cared if hero's didn't save your base from attackers. Most people put them in sleep mode anyways to save them for offense. Yes, getting the offense buff is awesome, but they should have done that without changing but he pull mechanic.

All this will do is make it more difficult to attack bases. Everyone will have their hero's in the core. Queen will sit back and pluck loons, hogs, etc.

And yes. We do have an ability to judge this change based on the video posted by Chief Pat. It's easy to see how hero's react, allowing us to foresee how this will change attack/defense strategy. No, we all don't have firsthand experience, but the experience will just reinforce our understanding of the impacts made by this update.
Most people leave heroes on guard mode, but just giving heroes the offense buff would tip the favor into offense even more, funny how people wanted offense to get nerfed and when it actually happens they start complaining again...
Also if you are worrying about how this will affect balloonion, it just means you will have to send in more minions plus a rage to where ever the queen is located inside the base, as for hogs... yeah they're done for.
    Have a nice day.

At least it will be nice for getting the outside collectors from dead bases!! That's what I do most of the time anyways.

I think this update is terrible now you need to get in the Base and kill them, because you can't Lure them easily
    as we know now.
Supercell tried to fix the defense and they forgot about the offense.
my few troops or my damged ones get in thru the base and now they need to face those Powerfull heroes?
You need to waste 3-6 troops for getting them know but after this update you can't.
I don't think this update it's so smart - it's risky, very risky for me as it sound, it's sounds like SC ruin the game.
"Don't try to fix something if it's good already" - My words to SC.
player will just centralize the heroes and there you go OP defense.
Say goodbye to your favorite attacks strategies because Supercell just take this away from you.
No More Hogs, Dragons (Pull queen), Giant Healer, Barch or BAM.
Say hello for costy, expensive, and Powerfull attacks - high level gameplay: Gowiwi & Gowipe.
What's your opinion about this update?
    bad or good?

Contrary to your belief, I think it will fix the game higher up. The game is too simple. It needed a balancing change. From what I have read and seen, SC did a lot to raise the hero's stats for lower levels. I think they are trying to make the game more interesting up at top.

The repetition of search and GoWiWi at the top is awful. With the new PEKKA level, Valkyrie and Jump AI, there will be many new strategies to be used. I think it is wonderful that they are getting those lesser used features/troops/spells into the game.

Plus, many high level strategies will be made easier. Take BARCH for example: Most players keep their heros in the center. Now barbarians will not easily lure them, which adds an easier dimension to the BARCH strategy.

Honestly if you think about it, SC is helping the game out. I love it and hope game changing updates such as this occur more often. Can't wait to see what this update will be like though!
