    Unlurable heros is a horrible idea and you're taking out the most strategic element of the game, which is how to effectively snipe heros before you fully engage in attacking. This used to separate the noobs from the pros... Pure strategy and skill involved. What a shame to remove this from the game. Shame on you supercell.

    I see where you are coming from, "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but until you receive specific stats for the new heroes, you are in no position to judge how the update is.
    The stats have little impact on the change to hero pull mechanics.

    Even if they left hero stats as is, not being able to pull them is game changing and is an overall nerf to offense.

    Why would anyone like this change? Who cared if hero's didn't save your base from attackers. Most people put them in sleep mode anyways to save them for offense. Yes, getting the offense buff is awesome, but they should have done that without changing but he pull mechanic.

    All this will do is make it more difficult to attack bases. Everyone will have their hero's in the core. Queen will sit back and pluck loons, hogs, etc.

    And yes. We do have an ability to judge this change based on the video posted by Chief Pat. It's easy to see how hero's react, allowing us to foresee how this will change attack/defense strategy. No, we all don't have firsthand experience, but the experience will just reinforce our understanding of the impacts made by this update.

    Seriously? You think using a hog or two than luring them to a corner and dropping some witches is what makes pros, pros?

    Changing the lure mechanic of the heroes is not going to ruin the game, so stop whining about it. IMHO, being able to lure the heroes off to the corner and smash them outside the range of other defenses was broken to begin with because it took no skill whatsoever to do. The heroes really had no defensive impact since you could easily dispatch them off in a corner with a handful of barbs and archers.

    Changing the lure mechanic simply fixes the defensive purpose of the heroes, because as it stands there's really no use to having them awake to defend the base. They're still restricted within their range just like any other defensive building, so their placement is still key in the setup of a base just like the clan castle.

    Seriously, we don't know how its going to work yet. Barcher will still work if the hero's are in the center as you don't have to lure them. wait until the update to start whining about stuff. SC wouldn't try to ruin there game on purpose. They balance stuff and test it to make sure it doesn't ruin the game.

    Yeah, it takes tons of skill to drop a troop in the heroes range along with the CC and lure it to a corner and surround them with Archers. Tons.

    Sarcasm. It'll take a lot more skill to kill heroes during an attack than "sniping" heroes that are pretty much defenseless.

    Forgot about offense?

    Valk AI improvement. They have enough HP to into a base and will rip up a hero quick. With the AI improvement they will be good for something else now too.

    Jump spell improvement, offense.

    Pekka lvl5, another troop that can take down heroes.

    Improved hero abilities will rock on offense.

    That's four offense improvements.
