It's an option for top players to expand your village that way it won't seem like everything is jammed together.
It will cost gold to expand one side,elixer for the other side,and finally dark elixer to expand the other side.

I think it might work, but there would be a large amount of different strategy that might mess up things and make it chaotic, but I like the idea very much. Maybe making it one loot instead of all three? And another thing to consider is how the troops would make it around the village still. When I thought of this I figured that making the village expand in a square fashion might work better, but I don't know. Great Idea though!
