    lost connection to server

    1. Device model - Samsung galaxy Tab 3
    2. Operating system (version if possible) - android version 4.4.2
    3. The country in which you are- USA
    4. Your internet service provider (if you are trying to use WiFi at home)- Xfinity
    5. Your mobile service provider -N/A
    6. Tried Wifi (yes/no)-yes
    7. Tried 3G/4G (yes/no)-N/A
    8. Have the latest version of Hay Day installed (yes/no)-yes version 1.22.141
    9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app? After opening app it says updating for about 2-3 mins then message comes up saying
    "You have lost connection with the server. Please check internet connection and try again"

    i have 2 other people that play this game in my home and both of them are able to load the game fine... hope to have it fixed soon... this is my favorite game...

    over two days still updating!!

    Haven't been able to play in days. Very frustrated.

    9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app?-- times out after a couple of minutes then I try again.

    We'll make all we can to fix this, but we need a bit more information! Please also post here if you got it to work, and how. Thanks for all your help and support on this!

    Stuck on Updating--A plea for help

    Please help! My pets are hungry, my cows need milking, and my neighbours are wondering where I am!!

    I've been playing for 7 or 8 months and have had no issues until the last maintenance break. I haven't been able to get on since. I have tried all of the above to no avail.

    stuck on updating

    I have been stuck on updating since 1/15/015. I have done everything i know to do. Please help I would like to play my game. Google nexus 7 32gb android just updated to 5.0 att wifi

    stuck on updating for 2 weeks!

    I purchased this tablet for my daughter for Christmas and she loves hay day. Here is the info you are requesting:
    Device model= RCA tablet model RCT6773w22
    OS & version = Android 4.4.2
    Country= USA
    Internet provider= time warner
    Mobile service provider= not connected any mobile service
    Tried wifi= yes
    Tried 3g/4g= no, not connected to any mobile service
    Latest version of hay day= yes version 1.22.141
    For how long did you wait until quit app= 4 days have shut down and restarted device and router.

    Update Stuck on Waiting/Loading

    1. Check the Hay Day version you have installed. On Android go to Settings -> Apps -> tap on Hay Day and make sure it is 1.18.174. If it isn't please open up Google Play Store and install the latest version. On iOS go to Settings -> General - Usage -> tap on Hay Day and make sure it is 1.18.166. Note - on iOS viewing the version number from the Usage list shows a different version than if you view it in-game (settings -> information (the small i-icon) -> credits (where it should be 1.18.175)). This is nothing to worry about.
    2. Please try to connect to WiFi if you are stuck using 3G/4G, and let it finish the update. If you have been using WiFi, try 3G/4G instead. Note that you should not switch to any other app during the update or let your device go to sleep.
    3. If it still doesn’t work, try to turn off your device, and then back on again and try again.
    4. If nothing helps, and you are 100% sure that your farm is connected to Game Center, Facebook or Google+, you can try to remove Hay Day from your device, and re-install it. It is not recommended to remove/uninstall Hay Day if you aren't 100% sure that your farm is/was connected to Game Center, Facebook or Google+.


    If none of the above helps, please post the following information so we can dig deeper into this issue:


    1. Device model APPLE iPOD TOUCH 4G
    2. Operating system (version if possible) iOS 6.1.6
    3. The country in which you are USA
    4. Your internet service provider (if you are trying to use WiFi at home) COMCAST
    5. Your mobile service provider HOME INTERNET
    6. Tried Wifi (yes/no) YES
    7. Tried 3G/4G (yes/no) NO
    8. Have the latest version of Hay Day installed (yes/no) NO, 1.22.141 or 1.22.133. It was the update that INSTALLED the winter theme. I did not install the update that removed it. Second before last version was installed.
    9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app? ABOUT 6 DAYS!!! I can't actually open the app. The icon on my device screen just says "updating", as if it's still trying to install the derby update. I can't delete or open Hay Day.

    Unhappy Is this thread still active and followed by the staff?

    I'm experiencing the "stuck on Updating" problem. When I launch the app, the screen says "Connecting.." and then "Updating.." and stays there like forever. I installed the latest versions of iOS and the Hay Day app (the one with Derby) several days ago, and the latest Hay Day app was running just fine on the latest iOS for at least seven days.

    I read the entire thread and other related forums, but there seems to be no 'official' solution to this problem other than that some people eventually got back the access after a new update was released. The staff should realise that people having this problem is underrepresented, because once this happens, you can't access to the game to make an "in-game" contact with the support team, unless you have a different device to start a new farm.


    My device info:
    1. Device model: iPad Mini (iPad2,7)
    2. Operating system: iOS 8.2 (12D508) - updated several days before the problem
    3. The country in which you are: Australia
    4. Your internet service provider: Telstra
    5. Your mobile service provider: N/A - no SIM used in my iPad
    6. Tried Wifi: Yes
    7. Tried 3G/4G: N/A - no SIM used in my iPad
    8. Have the latest version of Hay Day installed: Yes, Version 1.23.248 - updated several days before the problem
    9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app: ≥ 3 hours with no interruption

    I also tried these, and none of them solved the problem:
    • Sign off and sign in the Game Centre (which I use to save the farm)
    • Start the app from the Game Centre
    • Check for device storage/memory (more than 43GB free space available; quit all other apps)
    • Restart/Soft-reset the iPad
    • Check/reset the wifi connection; blue tooth OFF; airplane mode OFF
    • Use a different wifi network
    • Delete and re-install the app



    Hope this helps to fix the problem.

    PS - This is an unfortunate incident, but I still appreciate the amazing work the Supercell Team always do to keep us entertained

    Talking "Stuck on Updating.." Solved

    I got my access back after 4-5 days of downtime. It seems to be a server-side problem. When I opened the Hay Day App, I received an in-game "sorry" message with 5 axes. The message said there was a "challenge" on their server.

    So if anyone has the same problem, my recommendation is to let the support centre know and wait (patiently... ) rather than going through all of the checking, uninstalling and reinstalling.
