    updating

    Hi,

still "updating" from the last update with bees. I tried everything you suggest but did not helped.

    1. Device model - iPad mini
    2. Operating system (version if possible) - iOS 8
    3. The country in which you are - Czech Republic
    4. Your internet service provider (if you are trying to use WiFi at home) - O2, but there is no problem with other apps or on other devices
    5. Your mobile service provider - non
    6. Tried Wifi (yes/no) - yes
    7. Tried 3G/4G (yes/no) - no
    8. Have the latest version of Hay Day installed (yes/no) - yes
    9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app? - as long as possible - to the message it can't connect

My mum has same problem. Everything is same but she has iPad 2.

    Thanks for any help

    Can't connect?

So today I tried getting onto Hay Day, it said there was an update, so I ran the update, everything went fine, at least I thought so until I tried opening up Hay Day. It went from "Connecting..." to "Updating..." for about 5 minutes then to "Connection was lost" I know for a fact I have a stable connection, I can play any other web game on my tablet just fine, with no problems. But ever since the update today I can't play, I can't even get past the loading screen. :/

We are investigating the issue that some players are stuck on "Updating.." for a very very long time. Users who have slower connections may have to wait for a longer time (up to an hour maybe). To start, please try these things if you are stuck on "Updating..":

    1. Check the Hay Day version you have installed. On Android go to Settings -> Apps -> tap on Hay Day and make sure it is 1.18.174. If it isn't please open up Google Play Store and install the latest version. On iOS go to Settings -> General - Usage -> tap on Hay Day and make sure it is 1.18.166. Note - on iOS viewing the version number from the Usage list shows a different version than if you view it in-game (settings -> information (the small i-icon) -> credits (where it should be 1.18.175)). This is nothing to worry about.
    2. Please try to connect to WiFi if you are stuck using 3G/4G, and let it finish the update. If you have been using WiFi, try 3G/4G instead. Note that you should not switch to any other app during the update or let your device go to sleep.
    3. If it still doesn’t work, try to turn off your device, and then back on again and try again.
    4. If nothing helps, and you are 100% sure that your farm is connected to Game Center, Facebook or Google+, you can try to remove Hay Day from your device, and re-install it. It is not recommended to remove/uninstall Hay Day if you aren't 100% sure that your farm is/was connected to Game Center, Facebook or Google+.

If none of the above helps, please post the following information so we can dig deeper into this issue:

    1. Device model
    2. Operating system (version if possible)
    3. The country in which you are
    4. Your internet service provider (if you are trying to use WiFi at home)
    5. Your mobile service provider
    6. Tried Wifi (yes/no)
    7. Tried 3G/4G (yes/no)
    8. Have the latest version of Hay Day installed (yes/no)
    9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app?

We'll make all we can to fix this, but we need a bit more information! Please also post here if you got it to work, and how. Thanks for all your help and support on this!

    Cheers,

    Nick

will NOT load....stuck for 3 days

I am having the same issue. After the fall update, I actually played for a couple of days with no problems; then on Saturday, the game would not load at all; I see the SuperCell splash screen, then it moves to connecting...and just sits there.

It's not my WiFi....everything else works just fine....FIOS connection...plenty of RAM....10GB free in storage. I'm operating on a Samsung Galaxy Tab and have been playing for a very long time. I've even uninstalled, force quit everything, restarted and reinstalled - no luck. This is by far my favorite game and I'm going through serious withdrawal! I'd hate to lose it...so please help!

This issue has been occurring since June?! Please excuse me while I put my jaw back in place. LOL!

It started for me approx 1 month ago. I've check everything; ISP settings, WiFi, iOS version, app version and everything checks out just fine.

Now, as for possible WiFi static / interference, not much of a possibility. We do live in an area where the buildings are with close proximity. However, these are places where they've left everything in "default status" as far as ISP / WiFi settings are concerned. Not me. Haha!

Because our smartphones are b/n/g compatible, I changed our WiFi to 5ghz (20/40). This takes us up above the standard 1-11 channels. AKA: No ones up here with us, bye bye static ♥♥. Also, most obvious sign: this is the ONLY game giving me any problems... ever... AT ALL! Sorry, just sayin'.

ADDITIONALLY: I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this occurrence, however, the game server seems to cut the connection. I have also investigated that on my end. Actually, we did have a new cable box put in and all signals were checked, with all showing up perfectly fine (ISP wise). Each time I was bounced, my boyfriend's phone was still connected to our WiFi, as was my iPhone itself! I've also been using a wonderful app to keep an eye on my phones speeds, which are showing to be more than needed to play. (Speed test by Ookla - free app)

    Not working

I had this problem when I installed this game for the first time. So I reinstalled over and over again and it worked all of q sudden.
Now I reached lvl 30 and the game is stucked in updating. So I went to Google play store and updated it. Even after that its not working. Its still stuck in updating. After 5-10mins a msg comes saying cannot connect to internet. I know that there is no problem with my WiFi connection becoz Clash of Clans and other multiplayer games are working fine.
So fix this problem for me. Or else all I have done to my farm will get lost. But I have connected the game to Google play. The informations about my device that might help you fix this are as follows:
    1.Micromax Canvas 2 A110
    2.Android jellybean 4.1.1
    3.India
    4.BSLN
    5.Vodafone
    6.tried WiFi: Yes(always)
    7.tried 3G/4G: no
    8.Yes
9.I waited more than 20 minutes.
Please do something about this. I bought a new ice cream maker yesterday. I haven't even opened the cover *tears*
    Faithfully
    Gokul
