Yes, it is against the TOS rules regarding 3rd party software as is playing on an unsupported device. It matters not where you got the software or if it's legal software.
Their games are exclusively for mobile devices ONLY. Another company's software is required to MAKE the game play on that unsupported device so, yes, some files ARE changed, without SC's permission to you or to the company that makes that software. Since that company does NOT have SC's permission to change their game files, their software pirates the game when you use it, which is illegal.
Additionally, it is also against the rules of this Forum to discuss, recommend, name, link to or otherwise encourage (even indirectly) the use of these programs. Your post and the one below, which quoted it have both been edited to remove the unallowed naming of the 3rd party software that you used.
Also be advised that should something happen to that 2nd game during the time you manage to retain it before it's discovered and your account is terminated, SC Technical Support will not help you. No matter how minor or severe the issue, any problem reports you issue...bug, glitch, graphics, inability to connect, inability to download updates, crashing, or even losing the farm entirely will not be acknowledged by Support.
