    Most people seem to be missing the point.

    When searching for a base to attack, the system is not matching two clients together. You can only attack someone that is currently offline. Their base is stored on the Clash of Clans servers, not somewhere in China just because a client had Chinese selected as their language in the settings last time they logged off.

    Thanks for this, I was debating this with my girl friend. We believed that changing languages would help but I see it doesn't. I'll show her this prove so she can stop telling to switch to the spanish servers rofl.

    OK all you master debaters!!!

    You want to prove that language makes a difference? Or that is does NOT make a difference? Do a controlled test.

    How to control your test to prevent errors:
    • I suggest you start on a Monday so that weekday VS weekend is not a factor.
    • Make sure you start at the exact same time each day so that it is not also a factor in base loot levels.
    • The reason i suggest you do NOT actually raid/attack/loot the bases you are analyzing is because you do not want "timing" to be a factor. You also do not want anyone claiming your numbers were off because SC "rewards" you for attacks or for "nexting" over and over.
    • Each day should be a different language. Using your "home" language as the control test.
    • You should repeat the process at LEAST 3 times to get a level, mostly accurate basis of information.
    • Keep in mind while logging your info, that you only have 30 seconds to analyze and log the info. Keep it simple. just amount of loot and perhaps TH lvl?
    • Oh and it is going to cost you a LOT of gold....


    Day 1:

    1. Go to your normal language. Note what time it is in the data log you are creating.
    2. start raiding. Do not actually attack anyone!
    3. note the amount of loot, click next.
    4. Repeat step #3, 100 times. YES, 100 TIMES.
    5. Once you have completely logged 100 bases and the loot levels, your first round of analysis is finished.


    Day 2:
    1. At the SAME TIME as the previous day, pick a language, lets say chinese?
    2. Start your raiding. Again, do not actually attack anyone.
    3. note the amount of loot, click next.
    4. Repeat step #3, 100 times. YES 100 TIMES.
    5. Once you have completely logged 100 bases and the loot levels, your second round of analysis is finished.

    Day 3:

    1. At the SAME TIME as the previous day, pick a language, lets say russian?
    2. Start your raiding. Again, do not actually attack anyone.
    3. note the amount of loot, click next.
    4. Repeat step #3, 100 times. YES 100 TIMES.
    5. Once you have completely logged 100 bases and the loot levels, your third round of analysis is finished.


    You could stop at 3. but heck, most studies have a MUCH larger sample pool. I would suggest at LEAST 5.
