    Lightbulb I have an idea anti-hoppers!

    Hi, my name is Robert, in game robert, Im the leader of the clan DonatingRegion and I have an idea anti-hoppers.
    When a member join a clan, a Co or the leader can set "keep" to a member who joined the clan recently, and "keep" button will keep the member in clan for 12h, and he will cant leave, only get kicked. I think is a good idea for clans, because everybody hate hopers!!! I hope I helped you with this idea. More ideas are coming soon.........I think... ;p

    There is already a thread on anti-hoppers, but I think it got rejected. Just when recruiting, be more careful for who you accept into your clan.

    actually..there should be a log of every player which shows that how many clans they were in and how long they stayed there which everyone can see...then it wont be hard to sort the hoppers at all

    Could be annoying

    I don't really like the idea of being forced to stay at a clan that I may be just visiting for a short while.

    I actually think that Pranto's idea is fairly reasonable, providing a clan history of a player. Unless I'm missing something important.

    Forcing somebody to remain in a clan they don't want to be in is a terrible idea. Particularly when there is so little information available to a new player when they are searching for a clan to join. The clan description is so limited that it usually only has a few rules about donations and nothing more. I "hopped" around a lot trying to find a clan I fit in with when I first started playing and would not have been happy being forced to stay or publicly flagged as a hopper. Now that I have a clan of my own how did we solve the hopper problem?

    1) invite only, hoppers hate having to wait
    2) don't give out free elder, so only people who understand the type of players you want can accept their request
    3) don't give out free co-leader, so only people who understand the type of players you want can accept their request
    4) if the first thing they do is ask for troops, boot them instantly
    5) if the first thing they do is ask if you like their base, boot them instantly
    6) if they don't respond when somebody says "welcome", boot them instantly
    7) be EXTREMELY selective when recruiting from global chat

    Hoppers. Lol. All they cost is five archers per hopper. Not a game changer really.

    spending my 2 cents on top would be the ability to set our own "Property taxes" or something along that line... In Gems! Authority to tax land in clan, from 10 - 500gems that a if a CO vote is majority, dishonorable exit will be divided among the CO's and Elders. this will also give more drive to be active as member to earn promotion. Deserters are criminals. Set up so that with in the first 24 hours if they leave but have met criteria determined by clan they will be auto Honorably with out charging any Gems. Feel free to respectfully improve on my ideas,

    im against it.

    I have a clan of my own but sometimes leaves it for some benevolent hopping(donating troops and leaving). I join any small or large clan that needs troops and i would be really annoyed if i have to stick around a clan that i dont wanna be.

Destroy clan castle for 24 hrs if guilty of deserting/hopping. Feel free to respectfully improve on my ideas, we are way over tracked and logged as it is but if we just make it costly and in time and resources they wont be able afford to abuse the Clan Rites
