    TH Outside with 4 Teslas

I literally don't understand the logic. First of all it doesn't work. Period. I'm TH7 in Crystal 1 and I've seen numerous people who put their TH outside their base, but with 4 teslas surrounding it. It doesn't work because I simply BARCH my way through it EVERY, SINGLE, TIME! The 4 teslas aren't anything close to holding me from taking the TH on the outside, so you're literally wasting teslas that could be useful defending the rest of your base. Second, I can't understand why people who WANT their TH outside, would want to "secretly defend it".... That defeats the purpose. Your TH is outside because you WANT it to get hit, give you an easy shield, and not worry about everything for 12 hours. Why would you waste 4 teslas like that? Is it just me or are people just this dumb?

Your right its stupid and a punk move. I dont thi snipe top often but when I do and hit a base that traps the the usually launch a full attack and grab the loot even if it wasn't worth it. Its gratifying lol

I guess it staggers the rest of your army from getting any further then the town hall?

That makes no sense though. Several people have said that they will go all out on trapped bases, and many times people are genuinely snipers, so there's no need to stop them anyway.

Edit: I also took down a TH trapped with a giant bomb + 4 teslas with 16 barbs, 16 archers.

    They are
    1. Trolls
    2. Idiots
    3. Both
#1 is the most common. They also put traps near the TH as well.

The purpose is to waste TH sniper's troops and possibly (very unlikely) gain some free trophies. This is why you ALWAYS bring lightening spells when TH sniping so that you can punish these trolls by zapping their DE. Don't forget to clean up their CC troops on your way out. And don't give them a free shield if possible.

I guess some people just put traps around their Th's that are outside the walls just for the heck of it. If they do place the teslas around the TH and the TH is far outside of the walls, that makes 4 defenses that you dont have to worry about if you are attacking the base for loot.

Some players, particularly TH10s do it because they almost never get attacked. They do to have something different to watch on replay.

The game isn't always about efficiency.
