    I've had an anti-hog base for a while and only gotten 1 starred by hogs or none. (5 times atleast by lvl 5)

    Upgrade your giant bombsto lvl 3 and preferably lvl 4.

    Thanks for this post. I think it is a good approach of the "hogs issue".
    An anti hog base might work again less skilled hoggers, and/or people who only use a small amount of them (< 30).
    But, no matter what you do as a TH 9, a good hogger with spells and heroes (clan wars...) will 3 star you.

    And I can speak by experience, I've tried multiple anti-hog bases - some of them from the forums, others I made myself - at 3200+ as a maxed TH 9, with full lvl 6 wiz CC and both heroes up (lvl 17 and 20), and no matter what, I would get three starred. I know I would also get three stars by many other strategies up there, I just feel like it is OP against TH 9 compared to other strategies (ie GoWiWi or GoWiPe that takes much longer to took, and are much more expensive).

    The main issue to me is variety in clan wars. Honestly, I loved clan wars when it was just released. I watched every single replay, saw some awesome raids, some awesome fails too. But now, I'd say 70% of the attacks I see are 36 hogs, 100% - or at least two stars.
    It just has become boring to watch clan wars replays .

    Prince Ray and Clayton all got three starred by hogs in CW

    Hogs are unstoppable, not even discos and gb4 can stop them

    Very true, they are still WAY over powering and that is why SOOOOOOOO many use them. Six traps is not even close to enough. The Big bombs unless stacked together are a total waste. Even if you upgrade them because the attacker will see them and simply drop a heal.

    The same holds true for Max Golems at the TH10 stage. They have so much HP and draw so much fire power that the attackers simply over run your fort with max Wallbreakers. Even if your fort has max defense items. Seen it countless times no matter your walls level. Then they just drop rage after rage with decent leveled Heros and other max troops.

    The developers are somewhat lost still on what is a good balance for this game. That is very clear to see.

    Some people will see anything nerfed until it's pointless. Hogs have already been neefed twice. You think they're over powered now!? When I first got them, they were insane! All the same statistics but much cheaper. A standard 32 hog army at level 5 will cost 2000 DE per army. That is ALOT of DE for one army. Hogs have been nerfed twice!

    They are not OP. They can be effectively countered. They do take skill to use. Stop whining about them.
